For a small number of our audience, where we want to better understand people’s engagement with Tate and their potential interest in supporting us further, we collect additional information:</p><ul><li data-block-key="2t2hq">Before contacting individuals we seek additional information to better understand their engagement with Tate, as for example philanthropic support and current affiliations, link to existing Tate supporters, business network information and publicly available information relating to: residential location, source of wealth and assets, family (excluding information about children unless given personally by the individual concerned), employer/employment history, donations to other organisations (including political parties where they are made public by the individual) and hobbies and interests to create a profile of their interests and preferences. This helps us understand the background of the people who may choose to support us and helps us to make requests for gifts to those who may be able and willing to give. We also use publicly sourced images to help identify individuals who attend our special events.</li></ul><p data-block-key="8j5v6">We also collect, use and share <b>Aggregated Data</b> such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.
