class="page-Introduction">Formed in April of 2003, the Java Web Developer BOF was for anyone interested in learning more about the <a href="http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/">Struts web application framework</a>. In July of 2004, we broadened our focus to also include more general coverage of other J2EE web application development technologies. From October of 2007 onward, group events were only announced on the Silicon Valley Web JUG <a href="https://sv-web-jug.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectNewsList">java.net site</a>. In March of 2009, we moved again to our new <a href="http://www.meetup.com/sv-web-jug">meetup site</a>. <p><span class="subheader2">Meetings</span> <p>Although no longer managed as a BayCHI BOF, this BayCHI BOF presence is being maintained indefinitely as the repository of the <a href="/bof/java/past/">meetings archive</a> from the early days of the group. <p>We now hold our meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at the GooglePlex in Mountain View.
