<a href ="../john/4.htm#43">John 4:43–54</a>)</span><p><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>And, when He entered into Capernaum, there came to Him a centurion, beseeching Him. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>and saying, "Lord, my boy has been prostrated in <i>my</i> house, a paralytic, fearfully afflicted." <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>And He saith to him, <FR>"Having gone, I will heal him."<Fr> <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>And the centurion, answering, said, "Lord, I am not worthy that Thou shouldest enter under my roof, but only speak in a word, and my boy shall be healed; <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>for I also am a man under authority, having under myself soldiers; and I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does <i>it</i>." <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>And Jesus, hearing <i>it</i>, wondered, and said to those following <i>Him</i>, <FR>"Verily I say to you, with no one in Israel did I find such faith.<Fr> <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span><FR>And I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the Kingdom of Heaven;<Fr> <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span><FR>but the sons of the Kingdom shall be cast out into the outer darkness; <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>and He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she arose, and was ministering to Him. <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>And, when it was evening, they brought to Him many demoniacs; but He was sleeping. <A name="26"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-25.htm"><b>25</b></a></span>And, coming to <i>Him</i>, they awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save; we are perishing!" <A name="27"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-26.htm"><b>26</b></a></span>And He saith to them, <FR>"Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?"<Fr> Then, having arisen, He rebuked the winds and the sea; <A name="30"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/matthew/8-29.htm"><b>29</b></a></span>and, behold, they cried out, saying, "What <i>is there</i> to us and to Thee, O Son of God?
