In the 1980s Joyal invented a Quillen <a class='existingWikiWord' href='/nlab/show/diff/model+category'>model category</a> <a class='existingWikiWord' href='/nlab/show/diff/model+structure+for+quasi-categories'>structure on the category of simplicial sets</a> (and <a class='existingWikiWord' href='/nlab/show/diff/model+structure+on+simplicial+presheaves'>categories of simplicial presheaves</a>). Joyal and J.
