Salute Herodion my kinsman. Salute the beloved Persis, who hath laboured much in the Lord. <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/16-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and <i>even</i> mine. <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/16-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren <i>that are</i> with them. <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/16-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>Salute Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints <i>that are</i> with them. <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/16-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.<p> <A name="18"></a><p class="hdg">Avoid Divisions<br /><span class="cross">(<a href ="../titus/3.htm#9">Titus 3:9&#8211;11</a>)</span><p><span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/16-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>Now I exhort you, brethren, to mark those who cause divisions and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned: <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/16-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>and avoid them; for such <i>people</i> serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by a soothing address and good words deceive the hearts of the innocent. <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/16-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>For your obedience is come to <i>the knowledge of</i> all: <i>and</i> therefore I rejoice on your account; but <i>yet</i> I would have you wise to that which is good, and simple as to that which is evil. <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/16-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>And the God of peace will soon bruise Satan under your feet.
