A visual design is a combination of lines, textures, and colours. The creation of design depends upon the emergence of different types of lines. The development of this creative activity is associated with the evolution of the civilizations of mankind as well. Initially, the orientation of lines was used for communication and then for beautification. In this study, the specimen of Illuminated Qur'an manuscripts (16th century-18th century) has been collected from Ganjbkhsh library Islamabad (GBL) and Qatar national library. This study is conducted under the framework of physical analysis with the help of Artificial intelligence, a comparative analysis of Arabesque's typology and its attributes during the 16th to 18th century. In total, 542 images from 96 Qur'an manuscripts of GBL and 28 images from the 5 illuminated manuscripts of the Qur'an of the Qatar National library are included in this study. GBL data has been organized chronologically, as 30 manuscripts are from the 16th century, 24 from the 17th century and 42 from the 18th century whereas Qatar national library data has no defined chronological order. The colors in Qur'anic texts started at 2005s. There is at least four model of this colored-text Qur'anis mushafs in modern. 1) Coloring the a word (Allah, Ilah, Rabb, Rahman and Rahim) with red and blue colors. 2) Coloring the letters: a) The letters are red-colored. On the top of letters, there is a number telling the tajwid and many colors for many letters for many rules of pronunciation (tajwid). This category is very common used by the publishers. 3) Coloring and Blocking the verse: a) The text of Qur'an is colored blue and some groups of verses are blocked with light blue, while other groups remain. The blue colored text (more than one word) is initial word. b) blocking the verse with certain color for certain purpose. The al-Qur'anul Karim for Special Women is the kind of category. It blocked the verses related to the women issues. Coloring the initial words of Qur'anic verses. 4) The colored text of this mushaf is at the beginning of ayats or verses, usually more than one word. The text is colored with red. This mushaf is for those who learn to memorize the Qur'an. Coloring the Qur'anic text is one of creativity in presenting mushaf. The colors in Qur'anic texts started at 2005s. There is at least four model of this colored-text Qur'anis mushafs in modern. 1) Coloring the a word (Allah, Ilah, Rabb, Rahman and Rahim) with red and blue colors. 2) Coloring the letters: a) The letters are red-colored. On the top of letters, there is a number telling the tajwid and many colors for many letters for many rules of pronunciation (tajwid). This category is very common used by the publishers. 3) Coloring and Blocking the verse: a) The text of Qur'an is colored blue and some groups of verses are blocked with light blue, while other groups remain. The blue colored text (more than one word) is initial word. b) blocking the verse with certain color for certain purpose. The al-Qur'anul Karim for Special Women is the kind of category. It blocked the verses related to the women issues. Coloring the initial words of Qur'anic verses. 4) The colored text of this mushaf is at the beginning of ayats or verses, usually more than one word. The text is colored with red. This mushaf is for those who learn to memorize the Qur'an. Coloring the Qur'anic text is one of creativity in presenting mushaf. The study is conducted under the framework of codicology, that focuses on the material and structure of the book (writing surface, colours, ink, calligraphy, design, layout and binding). The specific objective of this study is to analyse the significant features of Qur'an manuscripts that designed in Mughal era by the Lahore school of art. The common object of the study is to organize the Qur'an manuscripts (QMs) chronological order and examine the difference among the QMs. The city of Lahore has been considered as the centre of excellence for the art and craft even before the Mughal regime. Many more regional and foreign influences have impact on the art of Lahore. The arrival of the new ideas in the form of art had been adopted by the artist of the Punjab and other regions of the subcontinent. The Mughal era proved to be the dynamic period to produce illuminated manuscripts of Qur'an.
