CEO/President<br /> ２０２１年７月１日<br /> 理事長・学長決定</p> <p>Researchers and others who conduct activities using public research funds shall always judge and act honestly and sincerely, and use public research funds appropriately, recognizing that public research funds are mainly funded by taxpayer’s money and that such activities are based on the trust and confidence of society. In order to prevent misuse of research funds, in accordance with the "Guidelines for Management and Auditing of Public Research Funds in Research Institutions (Implementation Standards)" (decision by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) and other related laws and regulations, the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology School Corporation has established the following basic policy for prevention of misuse of public research funds.<br /> 公的研究費を使って活動を行う研究者等は、主に国民の税金がその原資に充てられていること及びそれらの活動が社会からの信頼と負託の上に成り立っていることを認識し、常に正直かつ誠実に判断、行動し、適切に公的研究費を使用しなければなりません。学校法人沖縄科学技術大学院大学学園は、「研究機関における公的研究費の管理・監査のガイドライン（実施基準）」（文部科学大臣決定）、その他関連する法令に沿って、研究費不正使用の防止を図るため、次のとおり、公的研究費の不正使用防止に関する基本方針を定めます。</p> <p>1. Establish and optimize the organizational structure necessary for the operation and management of public research funds, and always perform appropriate budget execution management.<br /> 公的研究費の運営及び管理に必要な組織体制を構築・最適化し、常に適切な予算執行管理を行います。</p> <p>2. Analyze the factors that may cause fraud, and establish and optimize the necessary processes and rules for misuse prevention measures.<br /> 不正が起こり得る要因を分析し、不正使用防止対策のために必要なプロセスやルールを構築・最適化します。</p> <p>3. Formulate a specific misuse prevention plan and ensure that misuse prevention measures are implemented.<br /> 具体的な不正使用防止計画を策定し、不正使用防止対策を確実に実施します。</p> <p>4. Continuously conduct compliance education and awareness-raising activities that contribute to misuse prevention measures, and create an organizational culture with a high level of awareness regarding the prevention of misuse of research funds.<br /> 不正使用防止対策に資するコンプライアンス教育・啓発活動を継続的に実施し、研究費不正の防止に関して高い意識を持った組織風土を形成します。</p> <p>5.
