We ended the night off very well with more gin and tonics. Needless to say, we all had a very good time.</p> <p>We’d parked our van in a very convenient spot. I decided I would try to get to the top of Snowdon, even though I could see that is was shrouded in cloud. I thought I would be excruciatingly slow, but I found that, despite the pain, I was overtaking everyone. It seems that although I think I have done nothing for the past few months I must still be at least a little bit fit. </p> <p>As we got nearer to the summit the clouds got thicker and we soon reached the snow line.
