This SSP building was the scene of the Executive Committee Emergency Meeting on 9 November 2004, which led to later disagreement between prominent Scottish politician <a href="/wiki/Tommy_Sheridan" title="Tommy Sheridan">Tommy Sheridan</a> and many of his committee colleagues.
