Công việc không nhất thiết phải giống nhau, nhưng về căn bản phải tương đương nhau. Nội dung công việc (chứ không phải tên công việc) sẽ xác định các công việc về cơ bản có tương đương nhau không. Mọi hình thức thanh toán đều chịu sự điều chỉnh của luật này, bao gồm lương, tiền làm ngoài giờ, thưởng, quyền chọn mua cổ phần, chia sẻ lợi nhuận và kế hoạch thưởng, bảo hiểm nhân thọ, tiền trả cho kỳ nghỉ và ngày lễ, phụ phí dọn dẹp hoặc xăng dầu, chi phí ở khách sạn, bồi hoàn cho chi phí đi lại, và các lợi ích. Nếu có sự bất công về tiền lương giữa nhân viên nam và nhân viên nữ, chủ lao động không được giảm lương của một trong hai giới để cân bằng lương của họ.</p>&#13; &#13; <p>Cá nhân nào đó tin là EPA đã bị vi phạm có thể đến thẳng tòa án và không cần phải gửi cáo buộc trước tới EEOC. Giới hạn thời gian gửi cáo buộc theo EPA lên EEOC cũng giống với giới hạn thời gian tới tòa án: trong vòng hai năm kể từ khi được cho là có hành vi trả công trái pháp luật hoặc trong vòng ba năm nếu là vi phạm cố ý. Việc gửi cáo buộc EEOC theo EPA không làm kéo dài thêm khung thời gian để đến tòa án.</p>&#13; &#13; <h2>Tiền Lương/Thù Lao Công Bằng và Phân Biệt Đối Xử về Giới Tính</h2>&#13; &#13; <p>Theo Đề Mục VII, hành vi phân biệt đối xử dựa trên giới tính trong tiền lương và các lợi ích cũng là bất hợp pháp. Do vậy, ai đó có khiếu nại theo Đạo Luật Tiền Lương Công Bằng cũng có thể có khiếu nại theo Đề Mục VII.</p>&#13; &#13; <h2>Các Kiểu Phân Biệt Đối Xử</h2>&#13; &#13; <p>Đề Mục VII, ADEA và ADA đều cấm phân biệt đối xử về thù lao dựa trên chủng tộc, màu da, tôn giáo, giới tính, nguồn gốc quốc gia, tuổi tác, hoặc tình trạng khuyết tật. Không giống với EPA, Đề Mục VII, ADEA hoặc ADA không yêu cầu các công việc về cơ bản phải tương đương nhau.</p>&#13; </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="layout__region layout__region--content
