And he reached it forth and it was restored.<Fr> <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>And the Pharisees, having gone out immediately along with the Herodians, took counsel against Him in order that they might kill Him.<p> <A name="8"></a><p class="hdg">Jesus Heals the Multitudes<br /><span class="cross">(<a href ="../matthew/4.htm#23">Matthew 4:23&#8211;25</a>; <a href ="../luke/6.htm#17">Luke 6:17&#8211;19</a>)</span><p><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>And Jesus departed with His disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed Him from Galilee, and from Judea, <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond the Jordan, and those about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing so many things that He was doing, came to Him. <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>And He said to His disciples, that a little boat should wait on Him in order that they may not tread on Him. <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>For He healed many; so that they were falling before Him so that they might touch Him, so many as had diseases. <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>And unclean spirits, when they saw Him, fell down before Him, and were crying out, saying, Thou art the Son of God. <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>And He charged them much that they should not make Him known.<p> <A name="14"></a><p class="hdg">The Twelve Apostles<br /><span class="cross">(<a href ="../matthew/10.htm">Matthew 10:1&#8211;4</a>; <a href ="../luke/6.htm#12">Luke 6:12&#8211;16</a>)</span><p><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>And He goes up into the mountain, and calls whom He wished: and they went away to Him. <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>And He made twelve (apostles) that they may be with Him and that He may send them out to preach, <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>and to have power to heal diseases, and to cast out the demons. <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>And He placed the name Peter on Simon; <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and on them He placed the names Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder: <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>and Andrew and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>who also betrayed Him.<p> <A name="21"></a><p class="hdg">A House Divided<br /><span class="cross">(<a href ="../matthew/12.htm#22">Matthew 12:22&#8211;30</a>; <a href ="../luke/11.htm#14">Luke 11:14&#8211;23</a>)</span><p><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>And He comes into a house; and the multitude come together again so they are not able to eat bread. <A name="22"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>And those along with Him hearing came out to arrest Him: for they continued to say, He is beside Himself. <A name="23"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span>And the scribes having come down from Jerusalem were saving, He has Beelzebul and He is casting out the demons through the prince of the demons. <A name="24"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-23.htm"><b>23</b></a></span>And calling them to Him, He continued to speak to them in parables, <FR>How is Satan able to cast out Satan?<Fr> <A name="25"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-24.htm"><b>24</b></a></span><FR>And if a kingdom may be divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand,<Fr> <A name="26"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-25.htm"><b>25</b></a></span><FR>and if a house may be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand;<Fr> <A name="27"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-26.htm"><b>26</b></a></span><FR>and if Satan stand up against himself, and is divided, he is not able to stand, but has an end.<Fr> <A name="28"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-27.htm"><b>27</b></a></span><FR>No one is able, having entered into the house of a strong man, to spoil his goods, unless he may first bind the strong man, and then he will spoil his house.<Fr><p> <A name="29"></a><p class="hdg">The Unpardonable Sin<br /><span class="cross">(<a href ="../matthew/12.htm#31">Matthew 12:31&#8211;32</a>)</span><p><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-28.htm"><b>28</b></a></span><FR>Truly I say unto you, that all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies whatsoever they may blaspheme:<Fr> <A name="30"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-29.htm"><b>29</b></a></span><FR>but whosoever may blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is subject of eternal condemnation.<Fr> <A name="31"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/mark/3-30.htm"><b>30</b></a></span>Because they were saying, He has an unclean spirit.<p> <A name="32"></a><p class="hdg">Jesus&#8217;
