His extensive papers are held in the Kunstbibliothek – Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (Art Library – National Museums in Berlin). Another part of his estate including the Letters written by Luiseis housed in the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles.</p> <p>With their "Erich Mendelsohn Archive" (EMA) the Kunstbibliothek and the Getty Research Institute have created a single digital window on the extensive Mendelsohn papers held in Berlin und Los Angeles. The Archive centres on the decade-long correspondence between Erich Mendelsohn and his wife Luise.</p> <p>The EMA presents 1,410 letters written by Erich and 1,328 letters from Luise in digitised form along with transcriptions and annotations.
