<A name="4"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/1-3.htm#aramaic"><b>3</b></a></span>And they searched for a beautiful girl in all the borders of Israel and they found Abishag a Shilumite and they brought her to the King. <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/1-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>And the young girl was very beautiful in her appearance and she was a Servant for the King and she was waiting on him, and the King did not know her sexually.<p> <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/1-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>And Aduniah, son of Khagith was exalting himself and he said: &#8220;I will be King!&#8221; , and he made for himself chariots and horsemen, and fifty men were running before him. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/1_kings/1-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>And his father had not rebuked him all his days or said to him, &#8221;Why have you done so?&#8221;
