(comp.), Buenos Aires: Eudeba, 2009, pp. 46-57, 2009</p><p class="ds-related-work--abstract ds2-5-body-sm">¿Cómo se han constituido los cánones de la historia dela filosofía? ¿Qué consecuencias tuvieron sobre la enseñanza de la filosofía? Para ensayar una respuesta a estas preguntas he tomado como caso de análisis la filosofía enseñada en la Modernidad temprana. Lo que me pareció encontrar es que la reforma educativa ocurrida durante el Humanismo y los comienzos de la Modernidad estuvo, al menos en gran medida, determinada por la conciencia histórica que se desarrolló entre los siglos XVI y XVII. Los objetivos, modalidades y contenidos que fueron promovidos por esa reforma dependieron de cierta forma de valorar la historia, el presente y el pasado, que llevaba aparejada un reconocimiento de ciertas líneas filosóficas y modos de hacer filosofía en detrimento de otros. En consecuencia, la nueva enseñanza de la filosofía que entonces se proponía elaboraba otro canon de autores filosóficos y una manera distinta de enseñar conforme a la interpretación de la historia que le dio nacimiento. Me parece que al menos en este caso histórico particular, la concepción de la historia fue determinante de la valoración y posterior selección de los filósofos del pasado dignos de ser estudiados y de la forma de enseñar la filosofía. Si es lícito generalizar esta respuesta, podríamos plantear como hipótesis para investigar otros casos históricos que acaso los diferentes cánones y modalidades que se desarrollaron en distintos momentos de la historia fueron fruto de las conciencias históricas alternativas de sus gestores.</p><div class="ds-related-work--ctas"><button class="ds2-5-text-link ds2-5-text-link--inline js-swp-download-button" data-signup-modal="{"location":"wsj-grid-card-download-pdf-modal","work_title":"Sobre antiguos y modernos en el siglo XXI.
