Bu kitabın temel amaçlarından birisi, piyasada yer alan algoritma konularına ilişkin eserlerde anlatılanları daha pratik şekillerde desteklemek ve bilgisayar programlamayı öğrenme sürecinde oluşabilecek muhtemel boşlukları giderecek konular üzerine yoğunlaşmaktır. ds2-5-body-sm">TR: Programlama öğretiminde algoritma tasarımı, çözülecek problemin tanımlanmasında özel bir yere sahiptir. Bu bağlamda programcı adaylarının algoritmayı nasıl algıladıkları önem kazanmaktadır. Bu nitel araştırmanın amacı Bilgisayar Programcılığı öğrencilerinin algoritma kavramına ilişkin algılarının metafor analizi yoluyla incelenmesi ve ortaya çıkan metaforların ortak özellikleri bakımından kavramsal kategoriler altında toplanmasıdır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Kastamonu Üniversitesi’ne bağlı 5 farklı meslek yüksekokulu bünyesindeki Bilgisayar Programcılığı bölümlerinde öğrenim gören 372 önlisans öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan ve “Algoritma …… gibidir, çünkü ……” cümlesini içeren formlar ile toplanmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile çözümlenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda Bilgisayar Programcılığı bölümü öğrencilerinin algoritmaya yönelik 63 geçerli metafor geliştirdikleri görülmüştür. Algoritma kavramına yönelik en çok geliştirilen metaforlar merdiven (%5.6, f=6), ebeveyn (%4.7, f=5), labirent (%4.7, f=5) ve öğretmen (%4.7, f=5) metaforlarıdır. Bilgisayar Programcılığı öğrencilerinin üretmiş oldukları metaforlarda algoritmanın en çok rehber, yol gösterici (%37.4, f=40) ve sistematik bir yapı (%34.6, f=37) yönü olduğunu vurgulanmıştır. EN: Algorithm design in programming instruction has a special significance in defining the problem to be solved. In this context, it gains importance that how programmer candidates perceive the algorithm. The aim of this qualitative study was to analyze the perceptions of the students at the Computer Programming Department regarding algorithm by metaphor analysis and to subsume under conceptual categories to the emerging metaphors in terms of common characteristics. The research sample consists of 372 associate degree students, studying in 5 different Computer Programming Department depending on the Kastamonu University in the 2015-2016 academic year. Data was collected with the forms prepared by the researchers and containing the phrase “Algorithms are like ......., because .......”. The data have been resolved and interpreted using the content analysis method. According to the data analysis, it was observed that the Computer Programming department students were developed 63 valid metaphors for the algorithm. Stairs (5.6%, f=6), parents (4.7%, f=5), labyrinth (4.7%, f=5), and teacher (4.7%, f=5) are the more produced metaphors according to the algorithm. Bu cihazların popüler olmasını sağlayan en önemli neden içerisindeki uygulama yazılımlarıdır. Yazılımları oluşturmak için mutlaka bir programcıya ihtiyaç vardır. Programcının ise istenen yazılımı oluşturmadan önce yazılıma ait algoritmayı zihninde tasarlayıp, yazması gerekmektedir. Algoritma yazma süreci de soyut bir süreç olduğundan öğrenciler algoritma yazmada ve öğreniminde zorluk yaşamaktadırlar. Bu araştırmanın amacı, meslek yüksekokulu bilgisayar programcılığı programında öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin, algoritma yazma ve öğrenimi hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, Batı Anadolu&#39;da bulunan bir üniversitenin meslek yüksekokulu bilgisayar programcılığı programı ikinci sınıfında öğrenim görmekte olan 38 öğrencidir. Çalışmada, katılımcılar algoritma ve programlama ile ilgili dersleri almış olan öğrencilerden seçildiği için amaçsal örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgubilim desenine göre yürütülen araştırmada verileri toplamak için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler içerik analizi kullanılarak kodlanmıştır. Yapılan kodlamalar için kodlayıcılar arası uyuşum oranı %81 olarak bulunmuştur. Veriler kodlandıktan sonra ortaya çıkan temalara göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, algoritma yazma sürecinin soyut işlemlerden oluşmasının algoritma konularının öğrenilmesini zorlaştırdığı, öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğunun, algoritma konusunun öğrencinin aktif olduğu yöntemlerle işlenmesi ve algoritma görselleştirme uygulamalarının kullanılmasının öğrencilerin soyut işlemleri somutlaştırmalarını sağladığı şeklinde görüş belirttiği görülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın amacı; Türkiye’de yaygın kullanıcı kitlesine sahip bir açık ders platformundan seçilen Bilgisayar, Yazılım ve Algoritma açık dersinin, uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda Mayer’in çokluortam öğrenme ilkelerine dayalı değerlendirmesini yaparak öğretim materyalleri tasarımındaki temel unsurlara dikkat çekmektir.
