The Levites received no share of the land but only towns to live in, with pasturelands for their flocks and herds.<td width="50%" class="even" valign="top"><span class="reftext"><a href="/joshua/14-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span><span class="btext2">For the people of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim. (Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim.)
