I hold the GIAC Web Application Pen Testing (GWAPT) certificate and have an expired Assessing Wireless Networks (GAWN) gold certificate and Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) silver. My gold paper was entitled <a href="/gawn_gold/index.php">"Programming wireless security"</a> and took a developer through installing various tools to writing an application to automate the collection of a WPA 4 way handshake. </p> <p> As well as the technical hands on work I also enjoy teaching and have ran a number of courses for beginners who are getting their start in security. I am also an associate lecturer with Sheffield Hallam University where I supervise a number of student dissertations each year. </p> <p> I am one of the co-founders of <a href="https://steelcon.info">SteelCon</a>, the North's Premier Hacker Con. </p> <p> Outside computing I am an active triathlete currently training for my first Ironman event. </p> </div> <div id="aside"> <div> <h3><span>Support The Site</span></h3> <p> I don't get paid for any of the projects on this site so if you'd like to support my work you can do so by using the affiliate links below where I either get account credits or cash back.
