최근 급등한 데 따른 것이다.</p> <p> 세일러 회장은 인플레이션 헤지(위험 분산) 수단으로 2020년부터 비트코인을 매수해왔다.</p> <p> 처음엔 회사 운영자금으로 매입했고, 이후에는 주식이나 전환사채를 발행한 돈으로 비트코인을 적극 사들였다.</p> <p> 도널드 트럼프 전 대통령 당선 이후에도 5만개 이상 매집하면서 마이크로스트래티지가 보유한 비트코인은 총 33만1천200개로 불어났다. 평가액도 300억달러(약 42조1천650억원)를 넘어섰다. </p> <p> 특히, 미 대선 이후 약 2주간 비트코인 가격이 40% 급등하면서 평가액도 하루 수억 달러씩 불어났다. </p> <p> 이 회사 주가도 급등했다. </p> <p> 지난해 말 63달러였던 주가는 지난 22일 기준 421달러로 마감했다. 이 회사 공동창업자인 마이클 세일러 회장은 23일(현지시간) 미 경제 매체 CNBC와 인터뷰에서 지난 2주간 마이크로스트레티지의 보유 비트코인 평가액이 54억 달러(약 7조5천897억원) 증가했다고 밝혔다.\n 그는 "하루에 5억 달러(7천억원)를 벌고 있다"며 엄청난 수익률을 과시했다. \n 미 대선 이후 이 기업이 보유한 비트코인 평가액이 하루에 5억 달러도 증가하는 등 수익성이 크게 급증하고 있다는 것이다.\n 그러면서 "우리는 현재 미국에서 가장 빠르게 성장하는 가장 수익성이 높은 기업이 될 수 있다"며 "하루에 5억 달러를 버는 기업은 많지 않다"고 말했다.\n 마이크로스트래티지의 수익 급증은 비트코인이 10만 달러에 육박하는 등 최근 급등한 데 따른 것이다.\n 세일러 회장은 인플레이션 헤지(위험 분산) 수단으로 2020년부터 비트코인을 매수해왔다.\n 처음엔 회사 운영자금으로 매입했고, 이후에는 주식이나 전환사채를 발행한 돈으로 비트코인을 적극 사들였다.\n 도널드 트럼프 전 대통령 당선 이후에도 5만개 이상 매집하면서 마이크로스트래티지가 보유한 비트코인은 총 33만1천200개로 불어났다. 평가액도 300억달러(약 42조1천650억원)를 넘어섰다.
