Amen. </p><p class="hdg">No Other Gospel</p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>I am amazed that so quickly you are deserting from the <i>One</i> having called you in <i>the</i> grace of Christ to another gospel, <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>which is not another, except there are some who are troubling you and are desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ. </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>But even if we or an angel out of heaven should preach a gospel to you contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let him be accursed! <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>As we have said before, even now I say again: If anyone is preaching a gospel <i>to</i> you contrary to what you received, let him be accursed! </p><p class="hdg">Paul Preaches the Gospel</p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>For presently do I seek approval of men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ. <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>For I make known to you, brothers, the gospel having been preached by me, that it is not according to man. <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught <i>it</i>, but by a revelation of Jesus Christ. </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>For you have heard of my former way of life in Judaism, that beyond exceeding measure I was persecuting the church of God and was destroying it. <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many contemporaries among my people, being more abundantly zealous of <i>the</i> traditions of my fathers. </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>But when God, the <i>One</i> having selected me from my mother’s womb and having called <i>me</i> by His grace, was pleased <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I consulted not immediately with flesh and blood, <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>nor did I go up to Jerusalem to the apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia and returned again to Damascus. </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to make acquaintance with Cephas,<span class="fn"><a href="#fna" title="That is, Peter">a</a></span> and I remained with him fifteen days. <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>But I saw none of the other apostles, only James, the Lord’s brother. <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>Now in what I write to you, behold, before God, I do not lie. </p><p class="reg"><span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-22.htm"><b>22</b></a></span>And I was by face unknown to the churches of Judea that <i>are</i> in Christ. <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-23.htm"><b>23</b></a></span>But they were only hearing that “the <i>one</i> formerly persecuting us now is preaching the faith which once he was destroying.” <span class="reftext"><a href="/galatians/1-24.htm"><b>24</b></a></span>And they were glorifying God in me.<A name="fn"><br /><br /></p><A name="fna"></a><span class="footnotesbot">a</span> <span class="fnverse">18</span> <span class="footnote">That is, Peter</span><br /><br /></div></div><div id="botbox"><div class="padbot"><div align="center">The Berean Bible<br /><a href="//berean.bible">www.Berean.Bible</a><br /><br /><a href="//literalbible.com">Berean Literal Bible (BLB)</a><br />© 2016 by <a href="//biblehub.com">Bible Hub</a> and <a href="//berean.bible">Berean.Bible</a><br />Used by Permission.
