The success of the students will depend to a great extent, upon how well the teachers have trained them. This paper evaluated the faculty members\u0026amp;#39; level of teaching effectiveness in the teacher education program in Pangasinan State University Asingan Campus, Philippines. Their professional background was assessed. Their level of teaching effectiveness along commitment, knowledge of the subject matter, teaching for independent learning and management of learning were considered. The study used the descriptive and evaluative methods of research. Questionnaire Checklist was used to gather data. The Faculty Evaluation Instrument (QCE of the NBC No.461) was adopted to evaluate the faculty members\u0026amp;#39; level of teaching effectiveness. It further tested significant relationship between the faculty members\u0026amp;#39; level of teaching effectiveness and their professional background. Salient findings are as follows: the teacher education faculty members in Pangasinan State University Asingan Campus are qualified professionals who possessed the maximum educational qualifications and eligibility to work in a state-run university. Only few of them graduated with honors and attended training and conferences in the national and international level.; their level of teaching effectiveness is Very Satisfactory; the profile variable The study utilized the descriptive method of research. This method attempted to ascertain the prevailing conditions and sought to answer questions to the real facts relating to the existing conditions. Results found that instructors/professors perceived their instructional performance as very good. Faculty respondents believed that they are qualified to teach the subjects they are handling. This was manifested by having good interaction between them and the students inside the classroom, by way of assessing their performance tasks and by way of assessing through pencil-paper test. However, student respondents perceived that the instructor/professors' instructional performance were only satisfactory. They perceived that CTE faculty members are all in better position to handle the subjects assigned to them. Interaction between them was effective. Specifically, the study sought answers to research questions on how the faculty performance is evaluated with regards to evaluation procedures, instruments, and criteria and what is the present and desired faculty performance evaluation system considering the standards on utility, feasibility, propriety, and accuracy. In search of answers to the abovementioned research questions, the researcher made use of the descriptive-assessment research design. The respondents of this study were administrators, faculty members, and students from the main campuses of State Universities and Colleges in Philippine Eastern Visayas Region. As result, the researcher found out that the most common evaluation procedure used were administrative observation in the class and the administration of appraisal instrument. Rating scales were extensively employed evaluation instrument and the most commonly used evaluation criteria were teaching commitment, mastery of the subject matter, teaching for independent learning, and classroom management. In addition, the SUCs in the Eastern Visayas Region of the Philippines unanimously expressed their desire to implement a faculty performance evaluation system that adheres to the standards of utility, feasibility, propriety, and accuracy. This study assessed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) performance of the teacher education programs of the Pangasinan State University Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) from 2014 to 2019. The study is quantitative, employing the descriptive-correlational research design. Findings disclosed that PSU-ACC performed higher than the National Passing Rate (NPR) of LET examinees nationwide, based on the yearly Institutional Passing Rate (IPR). However, the trend line equations of the IPR performances of BEEd and BSEd imply that there is a possibility that the IPR of both programs would lie below the NPR, which must be avoided. It aimed to determine the teaching performance of faculty members along: Teacher's Personality, Management; Specifically, it also aimed to: find the extent of factors affecting the teaching performance of the faculty members; and look into the teaching strategies adopted by the faculty members to improve their teaching performance. The survey questionnaire was the major gathering instrument to collect the data gathered and were treated using the Analysis of variance on the extent of perceptions of the teaching performance along the variables identified. However, the t-test was used in the analysis of the perception between the third and fourth year students, while the weighted mean was used for the responses on the problems identified by the respondents. Statistically, the findings of this study revealed that the level of performance of the faculty as perceived by the students was " very satisfactory " and that there was no significant difference on the extent of perception by students on the level performance of faculty members along : Teacher's personality ,syllabi preparation ,content ,teaching methods, classroom management ,and learning management. However, on the factors affecting the teaching performance like: the school-related factors, teacher-related factors, and community –related factors, it was perceived that the faculty members were moderately affected. This study involved the Student Teachers of Pangasinan State University (PSU)-Infanta Campus, Philippines wherein the descriptive survey method was employed. The instruments were the evaluation checklists and survey forms. Results revealed that good lesson planning leads to successful experience of student teachers since it is anchored with interesting delivery procedures as shown in their efficacy in teaching and appropriate techniques in utilizing teaching aids. Further, they were fully aware that they are the role models in developing rapport within and outside the school as reflected in their personal and social qualities. With the expectations set by authorities during one's demonstration teaching, knowledge in cognitive domain was relevant while the affective and psychomotor domain outcomes of professional education Multidisciplinary Journal, 2024</p><p class="ds-related-work--abstract ds2-5-body-sm">The study investigated the extent to which teachers' qualifications relate teacher's performances among faculty members in one of the Universities in Cagayan de Oro. Descriptive design was employed to analyze the profiles of faculty members regarding their positions, length of service, educational qualifications, seminars attended, memberships in professional organizations, and levels of participation in those organizations and to assess the level of teaching performance as evaluated by the dean, chairperson, and students. To determine the relationship between teaching performance and teachers' profile, a correlational design was utilized. Random sampling was used to identify the population from the fourteen (14) colleges, including the Basic Education department, resulting in the selection of sixty-seven (67) faculty members to participate in the study. Data collected were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and Pearson product. All research questions were tested at a 0.05 level of significance. The findings of the study showed that teachers' qualifications have a significant relationship to teaching performance.
