personality types focused on are neuroticism, conscientiousness, and extraversion. It, specifically, was attempting to determine if smokers show more of one personality than another. Specific questions were asked using an online survey and a personality test. These questions were distributed to a Psychology 1010 class at the University of Utah. The class had a total of 98 participants and was completed through the college campuses online system “canvas”. Out of the class of 98, only six participants were smokers. Of the smokers, five were female and one was male. 50% of smoking participants had a low conscientiousness level, and 50% had a high level. Most smoking participants had higher neuroticism and lower extroversion levels. Through this survey, it was determined that there were not enough smokers in the class to make any kind of meaningful conclusion. It, specifically, was attempting to determine if smokers show more of one personality than another. Specific questions were asked using an online survey and a personality test. These questions were distributed to a Psychology 1010 class at the University of Utah. The class had a total of 98 participants and was completed through the college campuses online system “canvas”. Out of the class of 98, only six participants were smokers. Of the smokers, five were female and one was male. 50% of smoking participants had a low conscientiousness level, and 50% had a high level. Most smoking participants had higher neuroticism and lower extroversion levels. Through this survey, it was determined that there were not enough smokers in the class to make any kind of meaningful conclusion.
