Elle invite &eacute;galement &agrave; penser la question des &laquo;&nbsp;transmissions en migration&nbsp;&raquo;, c&rsquo;est-&agrave;-dire tout ce qui se transf&egrave;re entre les diff&eacute;rents groupes de la soci&eacute;t&eacute; (migrants/descendants de migrants/personnes non migrantes) et ce &agrave; diff&eacute;rentes &eacute;chelles. Quels sont les legs et les coupures d&rsquo;un point de vue familial et interg&eacute;n&eacute;rationnel, d&rsquo;un groupe migrant &agrave; l&rsquo;autre, d&rsquo;une pratique institutionnelle &agrave; l&rsquo;autre&nbsp;? Il s&rsquo;agira ainsi d&rsquo;interroger les pratiques et les usages, ainsi que les finalit&eacute;s dans la transmission des formes politiques, &eacute;conomiques, culturelles et sociales dans les &laquo;&nbsp;mondes migrants&nbsp;&raquo;.</p> </div> <div id="resume-1199183-en" class="tabContent hidden" lang="en" xml:lang="en"> <p style="text-align: left;">The transmission of scientific and academic knowledge on migration cannot be envisaged today without a plurality of research, socio-economic and civil society actors. This calls for a reflection on the ways in which research is carried out and presented in the light of the circulation of knowledge. It also raises the question of &ldquo;transmission in migration&rdquo;, i.e. everything that is transferred between different groups in society (migrants/descendants of migrants/non-migrants) at different levels. What are the legacies and discontinuities from a family and intergenerational perspective, from one migrant group to another, from one institutional practice to another?&nbsp;The aim is to examine the practices and uses, as well as the purposes, of the transmission of political, economic, cultural and social forms in &ldquo;migrant worlds&rdquo;.</p> </div> <div id="resume-1199183-es" class="tabContent hidden" lang="es" xml:lang="es"> <p>La transmisi&oacute;n de conocimientos cient&iacute;ficos y acad&eacute;micos sobre las migraciones no puede concebirse actualmente sin la implicaci&oacute;n de una pluralidad de actores de la investigaci&oacute;n, del mundo socioecon&oacute;mico y de la sociedad civil. Por lo tanto, es necesario reflexionar sobre las formas de hacer investigaci&oacute;n y de restituir el conocimiento. Asimismo, sobre la cuesti&oacute;n de las &laquo;transmisiones en migraci&oacute;n&raquo;, es decir, todo lo que se transfiere entre distintos grupos sociales (migrantes/descendientes de migrantes/personas no migrantes) y ello a distintos niveles. &iquest;Cu&aacute;les son los v&iacute;nculos y las diferencias desde un punto de vista familiar e intergeneracional, de un grupo de inmigrantes a otro, de una pr&aacute;ctica institucional a otra? Se trata por consiguiente de examinar las pr&aacute;cticas y los usos, as&iacute; como las consecuencias de la transmisi&oacute;n de formas pol&iacute;ticas, econ&oacute;micas, culturales y sociales en los &laquo;mundos migrantes&raquo;.</p> </div> </div> <div id="annonce"> <p class="intitule">Annonce</p> <div class="tabMenu"><a href="#annonce-1199183-fr" hreflang="fr" class="active">Fran莽ais</a>&#32;<a href="#annonce-1199183-en" hreflang="en">English</a>&#32;<a href="#annonce-1199183-es" hreflang="es">Espa帽ol</a>&#32;</div> <div id="annonce-1199183-fr" class="tabContent" lang="fr" xml:lang="fr"> <p style="text-align: left;">Colloque international migrations &amp; transmissions, 17, 18 et 19 juin 2025</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Migrinter, CNRS/Universit&eacute; de Poitiers</p> <p>Le colloque international &laquo;&nbsp;Migrations et transmissions&nbsp;&raquo; qui c&eacute;l&egrave;brera le quaranti&egrave;me anniversaire de Migrinter souhaite croiser les diff&eacute;rentes formes de production scientifique pluridisciplinaire et de nourrir un dialogue entre des scientifiques, des personnes d&rsquo;environnements non scientifiques et de diff&eacute;rents domaines professionnels.</p> <h1>Argumentaire</h1> <p style="text-align: left;">La structuration de la recherche et la transmission des connaissances sur les migrations internationales ont consid&eacute;rablement &eacute;volu&eacute; au cours de ces vingt derni&egrave;res ann&eacute;es et se manifestent aujourd&rsquo;hui de diverses mani&egrave;res au sein d&rsquo;institutions et d&rsquo;organisations (IMISCOE, Institut Convergences Migrations, programmes nationaux et internationaux consacr&eacute;s sp&eacute;cifiquement &agrave; cette th&eacute;matique, Migreurop, Observatoire de la Migration des Mineurs, etc.). Relativement pr&eacute;coces en France, les recherches sur les migrations internationales sont d&eacute;sormais &laquo;&nbsp;mondialis&eacute;es&nbsp;&raquo;. Si Migrinter est un des incubateurs de cette dynamique depuis plus de quarante ans (Dubus, Ma Mung et Miranda, 2024), les actions collectives de la recherche sur les migrations s&rsquo;appuient aujourd&rsquo;hui sur un grand nombre de r&eacute;seaux. L&rsquo;&eacute;mergence de laboratoires sp&eacute;cialis&eacute;s sur ce th&egrave;me, ou ceux prenant en compte ces questions dans leur projet, a aussi donn&eacute; lieu &agrave; de nombreuses rencontres scientifiques, institutionnelles et/ou associatives, au d&eacute;veloppement de programmes de recherche, de formations et de revues d&eacute;di&eacute;es &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;tude des processus migratoires.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Au cours des quatre derni&egrave;res d&eacute;cennies Migrinter, en synergie avec ces partenaires, a ainsi explor&eacute; des champs de recherche vari&eacute;s&nbsp;: circulations, diasporas, g&eacute;odynamique des flux migratoires et leur place dans la mondialisation et les espaces locaux, cat&eacute;gorisations par les politiques migratoires, fronti&egrave;res et fronti&egrave;risation, ressources individuelles et collectives dans la migration, transmission des savoir-faire par des r&eacute;seaux sociaux. Plus particuli&egrave;rement, Migrinter s&rsquo;est pench&eacute; sur la dimension spatiale des processus migratoires, notamment sur les parcours, l&rsquo;habitat et l&rsquo;encampement des exil&eacute;s, sur les effets de la migration au sein des espaces urbains et ceux de faible densit&eacute;, sur les repr&eacute;sentations des migrations (Ma Mung, Hily, Scioldo-Z&uuml;rcher, 2019&nbsp;; Daghmi et al., 2020)&nbsp;; soit autant de domaines qui ont permis de continuer &agrave; appr&eacute;hender la complexit&eacute; sociale et spatiale des migrations internationales.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">La transmission des savoirs scientifiques et acad&eacute;miques sur les migrations ne peut s&rsquo;envisager aujourd&rsquo;hui sans une pluralit&eacute; d&rsquo;acteurs de la recherche, du monde socio-&eacute;conomique et de la soci&eacute;t&eacute; civile. Il s&rsquo;agira ainsi d&rsquo;interroger les pratiques et les usages, ainsi que les finalit&eacute;s dans la transmission des formes politiques, &eacute;conomiques, culturelles et sociales dans les &laquo;&nbsp;mondes migrants&nbsp;&raquo;. Nous proposons d&rsquo;articuler cette r&eacute;flexion autour de trois axes&nbsp;: 1 - Circulations et transmissions&nbsp;; 2 - Transmissions de normes sociales et juridiques&nbsp;; 3 -Transmissions des repr&eacute;sentations migratoires.</p> <h3>Circulations et transmissions</h3> <p style="text-align: left;">Les &eacute;tudes migratoires sont unanimes sur le caract&egrave;re in&eacute;galitaire des possibilit&eacute;s de se d&eacute;placer selon les personnes (Owen, 2019&nbsp;; Schmoll, 2020&nbsp;; Migreurop, 2022). Cette in&eacute;galit&eacute; dans la circulation peut &ecirc;tre interrog&eacute;e depuis des &eacute;chelles et des points de vue diff&eacute;rents. Il s&rsquo;agira tout d&rsquo;abord de porter une attention particuli&egrave;re aux dimensions spatiales de la production d&rsquo;in&eacute;galit&eacute;s des circulations. Comment les rapports de domination inh&eacute;rents aux contextes locaux, r&eacute;gionaux ou internationaux impactent-ils le d&eacute;placement&nbsp;? Et notamment, comment les formes de cat&eacute;gorisations institutionnelles r&eacute;agencent-elles les parcours et les routes migratoires&nbsp;? Comment certains lieux portent-ils en eux la trace de ces rapports de domination (camps, quartiers, fronti&egrave;res) et comment s&rsquo;y est op&eacute;r&eacute;e la transmission &ndash; ou non &ndash; de la m&eacute;moire&nbsp;?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Nous proposons ensuite d&rsquo;&eacute;tudier ces in&eacute;galit&eacute;s par les diff&eacute;rents processus de transmissions et l&rsquo;agentivit&eacute; qui en d&eacute;coule. Des propositions attentives aux temporalit&eacute;s dans la migration sont attendues, soit par le prisme du &laquo;&nbsp;temps de la famille&nbsp;&raquo; (Imbert, Leli&egrave;vre et Lessault, 2018), consid&eacute;rant l&rsquo;enjeu des approches des g&eacute;n&eacute;rations successives (Delcroix, Le Gall et Pape, 2022&nbsp;; Rosental, 2024) pour mieux comprendre les dynamiques migratoires et leur inscription dans les espaces ainsi que dans leurs rapports aux lieux (vie quotidienne, vacances, festivit&eacute;s, travail)&nbsp;; soit par le &laquo;&nbsp;temps des territoires&nbsp;&raquo;, plus pr&eacute;cis&eacute;ment par le r&ocirc;le des contextes, et de la m&eacute;moire des migrations dans les installations et les pr&eacute;sences des populations migrantes. Il s&rsquo;agira d&rsquo;historiciser et de localiser les formes de transmission. Comment les transmissions se structurent-elles &agrave; travers les temps individuels et collectifs&nbsp;? En quoi les contextes sociaux, culturels, religieux, dans leur construction et leur continuit&eacute; diachronique, contribuent-ils (ou ont-ils contribu&eacute;) &agrave; la fabrique ou &agrave; l&rsquo;abandon d&rsquo;ancrages individuels et collectifs&nbsp;? La perspective du temps long est ici sollicit&eacute;e pour comprendre, d&rsquo;une part, les dynamiques attractives et/ou r&eacute;pulsives des territoires quant &agrave; l&rsquo;installation des personnes migrantes et, d&rsquo;autre part, l&rsquo;&eacute;paisseur historique des processus migratoires actuels. De quelle mani&egrave;re les circulations se s&eacute;dimentent-elles et se superposent-elles&nbsp;?</p> <h3>Transmissions de normes sociales et juridiques</h3> <p style="text-align: left;">Les propositions s&rsquo;inscrivant dans le second axe pourront suivre deux orientations&nbsp;: les processus relatifs aux normes sociales et ceux relatifs aux normes juridiques.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Avec les migrations, les rapports sociaux sont parfois bouscul&eacute;s. Ils sont en partie produits par des cat&eacute;gories de race, classe et genre (Collet et Santelli, 2012&nbsp;; Fillod-Chabaud et Odasso, 2020&nbsp;; Rosental, 2024), des enjeux de domination (Martiniello et Simon, 2005). Les normes sociales &eacute;voluent par rapport aux soci&eacute;t&eacute;s d&rsquo;origine ou &agrave; celles connues auparavant, mais aussi au regard de la copr&eacute;sence dans les soci&eacute;t&eacute;s d&rsquo;arriv&eacute;e. Selon les parcours migratoires d&rsquo;hier et d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui, il convient de s&rsquo;interroger sur les mani&egrave;res dont les personnes transmettent des situations norm&eacute;es. De quelle fa&ccedil;on les personnes cherchent-elles &agrave; &eacute;chapper &agrave; ces r&egrave;gles&nbsp;? &Agrave; l&rsquo;inverse, dans quelle mesure les personnes maintiennent-elles des horizons normatifs qui sont stigmatis&eacute;s dans le pays d&rsquo;installation&nbsp;? Comment des &laquo;&nbsp;familles d&eacute;plac&eacute;es&nbsp;&raquo; (Sayad, 1999) et/ou des &laquo;&nbsp;parent&eacute;s mutil&eacute;es&nbsp;&raquo; (Barou, 1991) redonnent-elles du sens &agrave; des vies fragilis&eacute;es&nbsp;? De quelles mani&egrave;res ces &eacute;volutions normatives transforment-elles les soci&eacute;t&eacute;s travers&eacute;es&nbsp;? Il s&rsquo;agira ainsi d&rsquo;approfondir les dynamiques de classe/genre/race pour saisir les fa&ccedil;ons dont les rapports sociaux sont construits/n&eacute;goci&eacute;s dans les situations de transmission et les ajustements qui s&rsquo;op&egrave;rent entre g&eacute;n&eacute;rations, entre hommes et femmes.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">En partant de situations individuelles, des analyses des migrations &laquo;&nbsp;par le bas&nbsp;&raquo;, il est aussi int&eacute;ressant d&rsquo;analyser le r&ocirc;le des l&eacute;gislations dans la construction des liens conjugaux et familiaux et des relations sociales en g&eacute;n&eacute;ral, et la mani&egrave;re dont ces politiques et leurs effets sont transmis. Dans leur nouvel environnement, les personnes sont en effet confront&eacute;es &agrave; des changements de statut juridique, de cat&eacute;gories administratives. Comment l&rsquo;&eacute;volution des politiques migratoires affecte-t-elle alors la vie des acteurs&nbsp;?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Au prisme de diverses disciplines (sciences politiques, droit, sociologie, g&eacute;ographie, histoire), il s&rsquo;agit &eacute;galement de questionner les fa&ccedil;ons dont les diff&eacute;rents acteurs interviennent dans la production de normes politiques et juridiques. Par exemple, dans les pays en conflit ou les zones en tension, certains acteurs n&rsquo;appliquent pas les conventions internationales relatives aux d&eacute;placements des populations et cr&eacute;ent leurs propres cat&eacute;gories normatives &agrave; l&rsquo;image des autorit&eacute;s kurdes ou europ&eacute;ennes qui ont respectivement mis en place &mdash; et selon des m&eacute;thodes propres &agrave; chacune &mdash; des camps d&rsquo;identification des personnes. Peut-on voir des liens, des formes de transmission, dans l&rsquo;&eacute;volution des l&eacute;gislations et des dispositifs mis en place tant par les pays de d&eacute;part, de transit que d&rsquo;arriv&eacute;e&nbsp;? Ces divers modes de gestion normative des migrations, reproduisant parfois des relations de (contre)pouvoir et des tensions Nord-Sud, sont-ils au centre d&rsquo;enjeux g&eacute;opolitiques&nbsp;? De quelles mani&egrave;res et &agrave; quelles &eacute;chelles la diffusion de connaissances sur les politiques migratoires s&rsquo;op&egrave;re-t-elle&nbsp;? Quel est le r&ocirc;le des grands organismes internationaux et des entreprises priv&eacute;es dans les d&eacute;veloppements technocratiques de la gestion des migrations&nbsp;? Comment les connaissances et les savoir-faire institutionnels issus du contr&ocirc;le migratoire circulent-ils entre les acteurs de la gestion des migrations&nbsp;? Et face &agrave; ces processus, quels sont aussi les enjeux normatifs en relation avec les diff&eacute;rentes mobilisations citoyennes&nbsp;?</p> <h3>Transmission des repr&eacute;sentations migratoires</h3> <p style="text-align: left;">Les syst&egrave;mes migratoires ont consid&eacute;rablement &eacute;volu&eacute; depuis les ann&eacute;es 1980, alors que leurs modes de repr&eacute;sentation &ndash; visuels notamment &ndash; se transformaient. Avec les &eacute;volutions techniques, et notamment la g&eacute;n&eacute;ralisation des r&eacute;seaux num&eacute;riques, leur repr&eacute;sentation spatiale et sociale s&rsquo;est amplifi&eacute;e et a pris diff&eacute;rentes formes. Les sciences sociales, les associations, les organisations internationales, les institutions li&eacute;es aux &Eacute;tats, les artistes voire les migrants eux-m&ecirc;mes usent de cartes, graphiques, dessins, photographies, films de fiction, documentaires ou spectacles, pour construire leur propre repr&eacute;sentation de l&rsquo;exp&eacute;rience migratoire. En cons&eacute;quence, depuis le d&eacute;but des ann&eacute;es 2000, on assiste &agrave; une augmentation quasi exponentielle du nombre de ces cr&eacute;ations. Comment circulent-elles&nbsp;? Quelles nouvelles perceptions transmettent-elles&nbsp;?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Si la g&eacute;omatique, la cartographie, le dessin, les arts interviennent comme des moments de restitution, ils sont &eacute;galement des outils de production du savoir (Migreurop, 2022). Par exemple, avec les sciences participatives (Sciences Avec et Pour la Soci&eacute;t&eacute;), les pratiques associant les diff&eacute;rents acteurs &eacute;voqu&eacute;s ci-dessus en arrivent &agrave; pr&eacute;senter des aspects novateurs et originaux. Comment participent-elles &agrave; la transmission des savoirs&nbsp;?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Ces processus ouvrent ainsi une s&eacute;rie de questions sur les limites et les avantages de la mise en repr&eacute;sentation (Bacon, Clochard, Honor&eacute; et al., 2016) et sur les auteurs de ces productions. Sur le plan p&eacute;dagogique, est-ce que ces repr&eacute;sentations facilitent la compr&eacute;hension des migrations&nbsp;? Quels enjeux m&eacute;diatiques et politiques se posent avec la diffusion et la circulation de ces diff&eacute;rents supports&nbsp;? Jusqu&rsquo;o&ugrave; va-t-on dans la divulgation d&rsquo;informations et quelles sont les questions &eacute;thiques que cela soul&egrave;ve&nbsp;? Comment retranscrire les parcours migratoires, exposer et mettre &agrave; nu des histoires personnelles, parfois intimes et difficiles &agrave; mettre en mots&nbsp;? En quoi les productions r&eacute;alis&eacute;es par les personnes migrantes elles-m&ecirc;mes, participent-elles &agrave; la construction d&rsquo;un r&eacute;cit ou d&rsquo;un contre-r&eacute;cit sur les migrations&nbsp;?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">L&rsquo;enjeu de cet axe est donc de comprendre pourquoi les acquis de nombreux travaux scientifiques, r&eacute;alis&eacute;s parfois en lien avec diverses institutions (associations, organismes internationaux, collectivit&eacute;s publiques, artistes), ne perfusent pas ou peu dans certaines sph&egrave;res, notamment politiques. Femmes et fronti&egrave;res en M&eacute;diterran&eacute;e, Paris, La D&eacute;couverte.</li> </ul> </div> <div id="annonce-1199183-en" class="tabContent hidden" lang="en" xml:lang="en"> <p style="text-align: left;">International Symposium Migration &amp; transmission</p> <p style="text-align: left;">17, 18 and 19 June 2025 Migrinter, CNRS/University of Poitiers</p> <p style="text-align: left;">The international symposium &ldquo;Migration and Transmission&rdquo;, which will celebrate Migrinter&rsquo;s fortieth anniversary, aims to bring together the different forms of multidisciplinary scientific production and to foster dialogue between scientists, individuals from non-scientific backgrounds and from different professional fields.</p> <h1>Argument</h1> <p style="text-align: left;">The structuring of research and the transmission of knowledge on international migration have evolved considerably over the last twenty years, and now take a variety of forms within institutions and organisations (IMISCOE, <em>Institut Convergences Migrations</em>, national and international programmes devoted specifically to this field, Migreurop, <em>Observatoire de la Migration des Mineurs</em>, etc.). Research into international migration, which began relatively early in France, has now been &ldquo;globalised&rdquo;. While Migrinter has been one of the incubators of this dynamic for over forty years (Dubus, Ma Mung and Miranda, 2024), collective action in migration research now draws on a large number of networks. The emergence of laboratories specialising in this field, or incorporating these issues into their projects, has also given rise to numerous scientific, institutional and/or associative meetings, and to the development of research programmes, training courses and journals on the study of migratory processes.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Over the last four decades, Migrinter, in synergy with its partners, has explored a wide range of research fields: circulation, diasporas, the geodynamics of migratory flows and their place in globalisation and local spaces, categorisation by migratory policies, borders and bordering, individual and collective resources in migration, and the transmission of know-how through social networks. More specifically, Migrinter has focused on the spatial dimension of migratory processes, in particular the trajectories, habitats and encampments of exiles, the effects of migration in urban and low-density areas, and the representations of migration (Ma Mung, Hily, Scioldo-Z&uuml;rcher, 2019; Daghmi et al., 2020). These are all areas that have contributed to building an understanding of the social and spatial complexity of international migration.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">The transmission of scientific and academic knowledge on migration cannot be envisaged today without a plurality of research, socio-economic and civil society actors. This calls for a reflection on the ways in which research is carried out and presented in the light of the circulation of knowledge. It also raises the question of &ldquo;transmission in migration&rdquo;, i.e. everything that is transferred between different groups in society (migrants/descendants of migrants/non-migrants) at different levels. What are the legacies and discontinuities from a family and intergenerational perspective, from one migrant group to another, from one institutional practice to another? The aim is to examine the practices and uses, as well as the purposes, of the transmission of political, economic, cultural and social forms in &ldquo;migrant worlds&rdquo;. We propose to structure this discussion around three&nbsp; sub-themes:&nbsp; 1 - Circulation&nbsp; and&nbsp; transmission;&nbsp; 2 - Transmission&nbsp; of&nbsp; social&nbsp; and&nbsp; legal&nbsp; norms;&nbsp; 3 - Transmission of migration representations.</p> <h2>Circulation and transmission</h2> <p style="text-align: left;">Migration studies are unanimous on the unequal nature of people&rsquo;s opportunities to move (Owen, 2019; Schmoll, 2020; Migreurop, 2022). Inequality in circulation can be examined on different scales and from different perspectives. Firstly, particular attention will be paid to the spatial dimensions of the production of inequalities in circulation. How do relations of domination inherent in local, regional or international contexts impact on travel? How do forms of institutional categorisation reshape migratory trajectories and routes? How are certain places marked by these relations of domination (camps, neighbourhoods, borders), and how is memory transmitted, or not?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">We then propose to study these inequalities through the various processes of transmission and the agentivity that results from them. We hope to receive proposals that take account of temporalities in migration, either</p> <p style="text-align: left;">through the prism of &ldquo;family time&rdquo; (Imbert, Leli&egrave;vre and Lessault, 2018), considering the challenge of approaches of successive generations (Delcroix, Le Gall and Pape, 2022 ; Rosental, 2024) to gain a better understanding of the dynamics of migration and how they are reflected in spaces and in their relationship to places (daily life, holidays, festivities, work); or through &ldquo;territorial time&rdquo;, more specifically through the role of contexts and the memory of migration in the settlement and presence of migrant populations. The aim is to historicise and locate forms of transmission. How is transmission structured over individual and collective timeframes? In what way do social, cultural and religious contexts, in their construction and diachronic continuity, contribute (or have they contributed) to the creation or abandonment of individual and collective roots? The long-term perspective is sought here to understand, on the one hand, the attractive and/or repellent dynamics of territories in terms of the settlement of migrants and, on the other hand, the historical depth of current migratory processes. How do migratory movements settle and overlap?</p> <h2>Transmission of social and legal norms</h2> <p style="text-align: left;">Proposals under the second heading may follow two lines of approach: processes relating to social norms and those relating to legal norms.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Through migration, social relations are sometimes shaken up. They are partly produced by categories of race, class and gender (Collet and Santelli, 2012; Fillod-Chabaud and Odasso, 2020; Rosental, 2024), and issues of domination (Martiniello and Simon, 2005). Social norms evolve compared to societies of origin or those previously experienced, but also in the light of co-presence in societies of arrival. Based on past and present migratory trajectories, we aim to examine the ways in which people transmit situations based on norms. How do people seek to escape these rules? Conversely, to what extent do people maintain normative prospects that are stigmatised in the country of settlement? How do &ldquo;displaced families&rdquo; (Sayad, 1999) and/or &ldquo;mutilated kinship relationships&rdquo; (Barou, 1991) restore meaning to lives that have become more precarious? In what ways do these normative changes transform the societies they pass through? The aim here is to look more closely at class/gender/race dynamics, in order to grasp the ways in which social relations are constructed/negotiated in situations of transmission and the adjustments that take place between generations, and between men and women.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Taking individual situations as a starting point, and analysing migration &ldquo;from the base&rdquo;, it is also interesting to consider the role of legislation in shaping marital and family ties and social relations in general, and the way in which these policies and their effects are transmitted. In their new environment, people are confronted with changes in legal status and administrative categories. How do changes in migration policies affect the lives of actors?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Through the prism of various disciplines (political science, law, sociology, geography, history), the aim is also to examine the ways in which the various actors are involved in the creation of political and legal norms. For example, in countries experiencing conflict or areas of tension, some actors do not apply international conventions on the displacement of populations and create their own normative categories, like the Kurdish or European authorities, who have both set up camps for the identification of people, each using their own methods. Can we see links, forms of transmission, in the evolution of legislation and systems put in place by countries of departure, transit and arrival? Are these various modes of normative migration management,</p> <p style="text-align: left;">which sometimes reproduce (counter-)power relations and North-South tensions, at the centre of geopolitical issues? In what ways and at what levels is knowledge of migration policies disseminated? What role do major international organisations and private companies play in the technocratic development of migration management? How do institutional knowledge and know-how derived from migration control circulate between actors involved in migration management? Faced with these processes, what are the normative issues at stake in relation to the various citizen mobilisations?</p> <h2>Transmission of migration representations</h2> <p style="text-align: left;">Migration systems have evolved considerably since the 1980s, while the ways in which they are represented &ndash; particularly in visual terms &ndash; have been changing. As a result of technical developments, and in particular the widespread use of digital networks, their spatial and social representation has grown and taken on different forms. The social sciences, associations, international organisations, state-linked bodies, artists and even migrants themselves use maps, graphs, drawings, photographs, fiction films, documentaries and performances to construct their own representations of the migratory experience. Consequently, since the early 2000s, there has been an almost exponential increase in the number of such creations. How do they circulate? What new perceptions do they transmit?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">While geomatics, cartography, drawing and the arts are used as a means of presentation, they are also tools for producing knowledge (Migreurop, 2022). For example, through participatory science (<em>Sciences Avec et Pour la Soci&eacute;t&eacute;</em>), practices bringing together the various actors mentioned above can present innovative and original aspects. Nevertheless, we should ask ourselves whether these representations offer real alternatives for understanding international migration, enabling us to consider the role of states, the various actors in society, and individual or collective identities. How do they contribute to the transmission of knowledge?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">These processes open a series of questions about the limits and advantages of representation (Bacon, Clochard, Honor&eacute; et al., 2016) and about the authors of these productions. At an educational level, do these representations contribute to a better understanding of migration? What media and political issues are raised by the dissemination and circulation of these different outputs? How far do we go in disclosing information, and what ethical issues does this raise? How can we transcribe migratory trajectories, expose and lay bare personal stories that are sometimes intimate and difficult to put into words? How do the productions of migrants themselves contribute to the construction of a narrative or counter-narrative about migration?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">The aim of this sub-theme is therefore to understand why the results of many scientific studies, sometimes carried out in conjunction with various institutions (associations, international organisations, public entities, artists), have little or no impact in certain areas, particularly political spheres. Femmes et fronti&egrave;res en M&eacute;diterran&eacute;e</em>, Paris, La D&eacute;couverte.</li> </ul> </div> <div id="annonce-1199183-es" class="tabContent hidden" lang="es" xml:lang="es"> <p style="text-align: left;">Coloquio internacional Migraciones y transmisiones</p> <p style="text-align: left;">17, 18 y 19 de junio de 2025 Migrinter, CNRS/Universidad de Poitiers</p> <p style="text-align: left;">El coloquio internacional "Migraciones y transmisiones", que celebra el cuadrag&eacute;simo aniversario de Migrinter, pretende analizar las distintas formas de producci&oacute;n cient&iacute;fica pluridisciplinar y entablar un di&aacute;logo entreacad&eacute;micos, personas de entornos no universitarios y de distintos &aacute;mbitos profesionales.</p> <h1>Argumentos</h1> <p style="text-align: left;">La estructuraci&oacute;n de la investigaci&oacute;n y la transmisi&oacute;n de conocimientos sobre las migraciones internacionales han evolucionado considerablemente en los &uacute;ltimos veinte a&ntilde;os y se manifiestan hoy de diversas maneras en el seno de instituciones y organizaciones (IMISCOE, <em>Institut Convergences Migrations</em>, programas nacionales e internacionales dedicados espec&iacute;ficamente a esta tem&aacute;tica, Migreurop, Observatorio de la Migraci&oacute;n de Menores, etc.). Relativamente precoces en Francia, les investigaciones sobre las migraciones internacionales se han extendido progresivamente a nivel mundial. Si el centro de investigaci&oacute;n Migrinter es uno de los incubadores de esta din&aacute;mica desde hace m&aacute;s de cuarenta a&ntilde;os (Dubus, Ma Mung y Miranda, 2024), las acciones colectivas de la investigaci&oacute;n sobre las migraciones se sustentan hoy en d&iacute;a en un gran n&uacute;mero de redes acad&eacute;micas. La aparici&oacute;n de centros de investigaci&oacute;n especializados en la tem&aacute;tica, o de aquellos que la tienen en cuenta en sus proyectos, ha dado tambi&eacute;n lugar a numerosos encuentros cient&iacute;ficos, institucionales y/o asociativos, al desarrollo de programas de investigaci&oacute;n, de formaciones y de revistas dedicadas al estudio de los procesos migratorios.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">A lo largo de las &uacute;ltimas cuatro d&eacute;cadas, Migrinter ha explorado junto con sus socios diversos campos de investigaci&oacute;n: circulaciones, di&aacute;sporas, din&aacute;mica de flujos migratorios y su lugar en la mundializaci&oacute;n y en los espacios locales, categorizaci&oacute;n creada por las pol&iacute;ticas migratorias, las fronteras y la extensi&oacute;n de su efecto, recursos individuales y colectivos en la migraci&oacute;n, transmisi&oacute;n del &ldquo;saber-migrar&rdquo; a trav&eacute;s de las redes sociales. M&aacute;s concretamente, Migrinter se centra en la dimensi&oacute;n espacial de los procesos migratorios, en particular en las trayectorias, el h&aacute;bitat y los campos de &ldquo;acogida&rdquo; de los exiliados, en los efectos de la migraci&oacute;n dentro de los espacios urbanos y de los de baja densidad poblacional, en las representaciones de las migraciones (Ma Mung, Hily, Scioldo-Z&uuml;rcher, 2019 ; Daghmi <em>et al</em>., 2020) ; as&iacute; como otros &aacute;mbitos que han permitido seguir comprendiendo la complejidad social y espacial de las migraciones internacionales.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">La transmisi&oacute;n de conocimientos cient&iacute;ficos y acad&eacute;micos sobre las migraciones no puede concebirse actualmente sin la implicaci&oacute;n de una pluralidad de actores de la investigaci&oacute;n, del mundo socioecon&oacute;mico y de la sociedad civil. Por lo tanto, es necesario reflexionar sobre las formas de hacer investigaci&oacute;n y de restituir el conocimiento. Asimismo, sobre la cuesti&oacute;n de las "transmisiones en migraci&oacute;n", es decir, todo lo que se transfiere entre distintos grupos sociales (migrantes/descendientes de migrantes/personas no migrantes) y ello a distintos niveles. &iquest;Cu&aacute;les son los v&iacute;nculos y las diferencias desde un punto de vista familiar e intergeneracional, de un grupo de inmigrantes a otro, de una pr&aacute;ctica institucional a otra? Se trata por consiguiente de examinar las pr&aacute;cticas y los usos, as&iacute; como las consecuencias de la transmisi&oacute;n de formas pol&iacute;ticas, econ&oacute;micas, culturales y sociales en los "mundos migrantes". Proponemos articular esta reflexi&oacute;n en torno a tres ejes: 1 - Circulaciones y transmisiones; 2 - Transmisiones de normas sociales y jur&iacute;dicas; 3 - Transmisiones de representaciones migratorias.</p> <h2>Circulaciones y transmisiones</h2> <p style="text-align: left;">Los estudios migratorios son un&aacute;nimes sobre el car&aacute;cter desigual de las posibilidades de desplazarse seg&uacute;n las personas (Owen, 2019; Schmoll, 2020; Migreurop, 2022). Esta desigualdad en la circulaci&oacute;n puede cuestionarse desde distintos puntos de vista. Se trata, sobre todo, de prestar especial atenci&oacute;n a las dimensiones espaciales de la producci&oacute;n de tales desigualdades. &iquest;C&oacute;mo afectan al desplazamiento las relaciones de dominaci&oacute;n existentes en contextos locales, regionales o internacionales? Y, sobre todo, &iquest;c&oacute;mo influyen las formas de categorizaci&oacute;n institucional en los recorridos y las rutas migratorias? &iquest;C&oacute;mo algunos lugares portan el rastro de ciertas relaciones de dominaci&oacute;n (campos, barrios, fronteras) y c&oacute;mo se produce la transmisi&oacute;n-o no- de la memoria?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Proponemos estudiar estas desigualdades en funci&oacute;n de los distintos procesos de transmisi&oacute;n y de la agencia que los determinan. Esperamos propuestas que se interesen a las temporalidades en la migraci&oacute;n, ya sea desde el punto de vista del "tiempo de la familia" (Imbert, Leli&egrave;vre y Lessault, 2018), considerando el reto de los enfoques de las generaciones sucesivas (Delcroix, Le Gall y Pape, 2022 ; Rosental, 2024) para comprender mejor las din&aacute;micas migratorias y su inscripci&oacute;n en los espacios as&iacute; como en sus relaciones con los lugares (vida cotidiana, vacaciones, festividades, trabajo); as&iacute; como del "tiempo de los territorios", m&aacute;s concretamente por el papel de los contextos, y de la memoria de las migraciones en las instalaciones y las presencias de las poblaciones migrantes. Se trata de historiar y localizar las formas de transmisi&oacute;n. &iquest;C&oacute;mo se estructuran las transmisiones a trav&eacute;s de los tiempos individuales y colectivos? &iquest;En qu&eacute; medida los contextos sociales, culturales y religiosos, en su construcci&oacute;n y su continuidad diacr&oacute;nica, contribuyen (o han contribuido) a la creaci&oacute;n o al abandono de los arraigos individuales y colectivos? La perspectiva a largo plazo es &uacute;til para comprender, por un lado, las din&aacute;micas atractivas y/o repulsivas de los territorios en relaci&oacute;n con la instalaci&oacute;n de personas migrantes y, por otro, la profundidad hist&oacute;rica de los procesos migratorios actuales. &iquest;De qu&eacute; manera se asientan y superponen las circulaciones?</p> <h2>Transmisi&oacute;n de normas sociales y jur&iacute;dicas</h2> <p style="text-align: left;">Las propuestas de comunicaci&oacute;n que se inscriben en el segundo eje pueden seguir dos orientaciones: los procesos relativos a las normas sociales y los relativos a las normas jur&iacute;dicas.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Las relaciones sociales vinculadas a las migraciones son a veces desiguales, lo que se debe en parte a las categor&iacute;as de raza, clase y g&eacute;nero (Collet y Santelli, 2012; Fillod-Chabaud y Odasso, 2020; Rosental, 2024) y a los factores de dominaci&oacute;n (Martiniello y Simon, 2005). Las normas sociales evolucionan con respecto a las sociedades de origen, pero tambi&eacute;n en funci&oacute;n de la co-presencia en las sociedades de llegada. En el contexto de los flujos migratorios pasados y actuales, conviene preguntarse c&oacute;mo las personas transmiten las situaciones socialmente normativizadas. &iquest;De qu&eacute; manera las personas procuran eludir estas normas? A la inversa, &iquest;en qu&eacute; medida las personas mantienen horizontes normativos que se encuentran estigmatizados en el pa&iacute;s de instalaci&oacute;n? &iquest;C&oacute;mo las "familias desplazadas" (Sayad, 1999) y/o las "parentalidades mutiladas" (Barou, 1991) aportan sentido a vidas fragilizadas? &iquest;De qu&eacute; manera estas evoluciones normativas transforman las sociedades involucradas? Se trata de profundizar en las din&aacute;micas de clase/g&eacute;nero/raza para entender c&oacute;mo se construyen/negocian las relaciones sociales en las situaciones de transmisi&oacute;n y los ajustes que se producen entre generaciones, entre hombres y mujeres.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">A partir de las situaciones individuales y de los an&aacute;lisis de las migraciones "<em>par le bas</em>" (por ejemplo desde la perspectiva de las personas migrantes), resulta interesante explorar el papel de la legislaci&oacute;n en la construcci&oacute;n de los v&iacute;nculos conyugales y familiares y de las relaciones sociales en general, as&iacute; como la forma en que se transmiten estas pol&iacute;ticas y sus efectos. En su nuevo entorno, las personas se enfrentan a cambios de estatuto jur&iacute;dico y de categor&iacute;as administrativas. &iquest;C&oacute;mo afecta la evoluci&oacute;n de las pol&iacute;ticas migratorias en sus vidas?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">A trav&eacute;s de diversas disciplinas (ciencias pol&iacute;ticas, derecho, sociolog&iacute;a, geograf&iacute;a, historia) tambi&eacute;n se cuestionan las formas en que distintos actores intervienen en la elaboraci&oacute;n de las normas pol&iacute;ticas y jur&iacute;dicas. Por ejemplo, en los pa&iacute;ses en conflicto o en las zonas en tensi&oacute;n, algunos actores no aplican las convenciones internacionales relativas a los desplazamientos de poblaci&oacute;n y crean sus propias categor&iacute;as normativas a imagen de las autoridades kurdas o europeas que, respectivamente, han establecido- y seg&uacute;n los m&eacute;todos propios de cada una- campos de identificaci&oacute;n de personas. &iquest;Existen v&iacute;nculos, formas de transmisi&oacute;n, en la evoluci&oacute;n de las legislaciones y de los dispositivos establecidos tanto por los pa&iacute;ses de origen, como por los de tr&aacute;nsito y los de llegada? Estos modos diversos de gesti&oacute;n normativa de las migraciones, que reproducen en ocasiones las relaciones de (contra)poder y las tensiones Norte-Sur, &iquest;se encuentran en el centro de los retos geopol&iacute;ticos? &iquest;De qu&eacute; manera y en qu&eacute; &aacute;mbitos se produce la difusi&oacute;n de conocimientos sobre las pol&iacute;ticas migratorias? &iquest;Qu&eacute; papel desempe&ntilde;an los grandes organismos internacionales y las empresas privadas en el desarrollo tecnol&oacute;gico de la gesti&oacute;n de las migraciones? &iquest;C&oacute;mo circulan entre los actores de la gesti&oacute;n de las migraciones los conocimientos y el saber-hacer institucional en materia de control migratorio? Y frente a estos procesos, &iquest;cu&aacute;les son tambi&eacute;n los retos normativos en relaci&oacute;n con las diferentes movilizaciones ciudadanas?</p> <h2>Transmisi&oacute;n de las representaciones migratorias</h2> <p style="text-align: left;">Los sistemas migratorios han evolucionado considerablemente desde 1980, al tiempo que se transformaban sus formas de representaci&oacute;n, sobre todo a nivel visual. Con las evoluciones t&eacute;cnicas, y en particular la generalizaci&oacute;n de las redes digitales, su representaci&oacute;n espacial y social se ha ampliado y ha adoptado distintas formas. Las ciencias sociales, las asociaciones, las organizaciones internacionales, las instituciones estatales, los artistas y las propias personas migrantes utilizan mapas, gr&aacute;ficos, dibujos, fotograf&iacute;as, pel&iacute;culas de ficci&oacute;n, documentales o espect&aacute;culos para construir su propia representaci&oacute;n de la experiencia migratoria. Desde principios del a&ntilde;o 2000, el n&uacute;mero de estas creaciones ha aumentado de forma casi exponencial. &iquest;C&oacute;mo circulan? &iquest;Qu&eacute; nuevas percepciones transmiten?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Si la geom&aacute;tica, la cartograf&iacute;a, el dibujo y las artes intervienen como formas de restituci&oacute;n, son tambi&eacute;n herramientas de producci&oacute;n del saber (Migreurop, 2022). Por ejemplo, en el caso de las ciencias participativas (ciencias con y para la sociedad), las pr&aacute;cticas que asocian a los distintos actores mencionados anteriormente permiten presentar aspectos novedosos y originales. Cabe preguntarse si tales representaciones ofrecen alternativas reales a la comprensi&oacute;n de las migraciones internacionales que permitan interrogar el papel de los Estados, de los distintos actores en el seno de la sociedad, de las identidades individuales o colectivas. &iquest;C&oacute;mo participan en la transmisi&oacute;n de conocimientos?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Estos procesos plantean una serie de preguntas sobre los l&iacute;mites y las ventajas de la representaci&oacute;n (Bacon, Clochard, Honor&eacute; <em>y otros</em>, 2016) y sobre los autores de estas producciones. Desde el punto de vista pedag&oacute;gico,</p> <p style="text-align: left;">&iquest;facilitan estas representaciones la comprensi&oacute;n de las migraciones? &iquest;Qu&eacute; problemas medi&aacute;ticos y pol&iacute;ticos plantea la difusi&oacute;n de estos diferentes soportes? &iquest;Hasta d&oacute;nde llega la divulgaci&oacute;n de informaci&oacute;n y qu&eacute; cuestiones &eacute;ticas plantea? &iquest;C&oacute;mo retransmitir los procesos migratorios, exponer y dar a conocer historias personales a veces &iacute;ntimas y dif&iacute;ciles de contar? &iquest;En qu&eacute; medida las producciones realizadas por los propios migrantes participan a la construcci&oacute;n de un relato o de un contra-relato sobre las migraciones?</p> <p style="text-align: left;">El objetivo de este eje es, por tanto, comprender por qu&eacute; los numerosos trabajos cient&iacute;ficos realizados, a veces en colaboraci&oacute;n con diversas instituciones (asociaciones, organismos internacionales, colectividades p&uacute;blicas, artistas), no tienen apenas impacto en determinados &aacute;mbitos, en particular en el pol&iacute;tico.
