but I labored<MG2872> even<MG4053> more<MG4053> than all<MG3956> of them, yet<MG1161> not I, but the grace<MG5485> of God<MG2316> with me. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-11.htm">11</a>Whether<MG1535a> then<MG3767> it was I or<MG1535a> they, so<MG3779> we preach<MG2784> and so<MG3779> you believed<MG4100>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-12.htm">12</a>Now<MG1161> if<MG1487> Christ<MG5547> is preached<MG2784>, that He has been raised<MG1453> from the dead<MG3498>, how<MG4459> do some<MG5100> among<MG1722> you say<MG3004> that there is no<MG3756> resurrection<MG386> of the dead<MG3498>? <a href="/1_corinthians/15-13.htm">13</a>But if<MG1487> there is no<MG3756> resurrection<MG386> of the dead<MG3498>, then not even<MG3761> Christ<MG5547> has been raised<MG1453>; <a href="/1_corinthians/15-14.htm">14</a>and if<MG1487> Christ<MG5547> has not been raised<MG1453>, then<MG686> our preaching<MG2782> is in<MG2756> vain<MG2756>, your faith<MG4102> also<MG2532> is in<MG2756> vain<MG2756>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-15.htm">15</a>Moreover<MG1161>, we are even<MG2532> found<MG2147> to be false<MG5577b> witnesses<MG5577b> of God<MG2316>, because<MG3754> we testified<MG3140> <a href="#fn">[g]</a>against<MG2596> God<MG2316> that He raised<MG1453> <a href="#fn">[h]</a>Christ<MG5547>, whom<MG3739> He did not raise<MG1453>, if<MG1512> in fact<MG686> the dead<MG3498> are not raised<MG1453>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-16.htm">16</a>For if<MG1487> the dead<MG3498> are not raised<MG1453>, then not even<MG3761> Christ<MG5547> has been raised<MG1453>; <a href="/1_corinthians/15-17.htm">17</a>and if<MG1487> Christ<MG5547> has not been raised<MG1453>, your faith<MG4102> is worthless<MG3152>; you are still<MG2089> in your sins<MG266>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-18.htm">18</a>Then<MG686> also<MG2532> those<MG3588> who have fallen<MG2837> asleep<MG2837> in Christ<MG5547> have perished<MG622>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-19.htm">19</a>If<MG1487> we have hoped<MG1679> in Christ<MG5547> only<MG3440> in this<MG3778> life<MG2222>, we are of all<MG3956> people<MG444> most<MG1652> to<MG1652> be<MG1652> pitied<MG1652>. The Order of Resurrection<a href="/1_corinthians/15-20.htm">20</a>But the<MG3570> fact<MG3570> is<MG3570>, Christ<MG5547> has been raised<MG1453> from the dead<MG3498>, the first<MG536> fruits<MG536> of those<MG3588> who are<MG2837> asleep<MG2837>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-21.htm">21</a>For since<MG1894> by a man<MG444> death<MG2288> came, by a man<MG444> also<MG2532> came the resurrection<MG386> of the dead<MG3498>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-22.htm">22</a>For as in Adam<MG76> all<MG3956> die<MG599>, so<MG3779> also<MG2532> in <a href="#fn">[i]</a>Christ<MG5547> all<MG3956> will be made<MG2227> alive<MG2227>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-23.htm">23</a>But each<MG1538> in his own<MG2398> order<MG5001>: Christ<MG5547> the first<MG536> fruits<MG536>, after<MG1899> that<MG1899> those<MG3588> who<MG3588> are Christ’s<MG5547> at His coming<MG3952>, <a href="/1_corinthians/15-24.htm">24</a>then<MG1534> comes the end<MG5056>, when<MG3752> He hands<MG3860> over<MG3860> the kingdom<MG932> to our God<MG2316> and Father<MG3962>, when<MG3752> He has abolished<MG2673> all<MG3956> rule<MG746> and all<MG3956> authority<MG1849> and power<MG1411>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-25.htm">25</a>For He must<MG1163> reign<MG936> until<MG891> He has put<MG5087> all<MG3956> His enemies<MG2190> under<MG5259> His feet<MG4228>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-26.htm">26</a>The last<MG2078> enemy<MG2190> that will be abolished<MG2673> is death<MG2288>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-27.htm">27</a>For HE HAS PUT<MG5293> ALL<MG3956> THINGS<MG3956> IN<MG5293> SUBJECTION<MG5293> UNDER<MG5259> HIS FEET<MG4228>. But when<MG3752> He says<MG3004>, “All<MG3956> things<MG3956> are put<MG5293> in<MG5293> subjection<MG5293>,” it is clear<MG1212> that <a href="#fn">[j]</a>this excludes<MG1622> the Father who put<MG5293> all<MG3956> things<MG3956> in<MG5293> subjection<MG5293> to Him. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-28.htm">28</a>When<MG3752> all<MG3956> things<MG3956> are subjected<MG5293> to Him, then<MG5119> the Son<MG5207> Himself<MG846> will also<MG2532> be<MG5293> subjected<MG5293> to the One who subjected<MG5293> all<MG3956> things<MG3956> to Him, so<MG2443> that<MG2443> God<MG2316> may be all<MG3956> in all<MG3956>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-29.htm">29</a>For<MG1893> otherwise<MG1893>, what<MG5101> will those<MG3588> do<MG4160> who are baptized<MG907> <a href="#fn">[k]</a>for the dead<MG3498>? If<MG1487> the dead<MG3498> are not raised<MG1453> at all<MG3654>, why<MG5101> then<MG2532> are they baptized<MG907> <a href="#fn">[l]</a>for them? <a href="/1_corinthians/15-30.htm">30</a>Why<MG5101> are<MG2793> we also<MG2532> in<MG2793> danger<MG2793> every<MG3956> hour<MG5610>? <a href="/1_corinthians/15-31.htm">31</a>I affirm<MG3513>, brothers<MG80> and sisters, by the boasting<MG2746a> in you which<MG3739> I have<MG2192> in Christ<MG5547> Jesus<MG2424> our Lord<MG2962>, that I die<MG599> daily<MG2596, 2250>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-32.htm">32</a>If<MG1487> <a href="#fn">[m]</a>from human<MG444> motives<MG2596> I fought<MG2341> with<MG2341> wild<MG2341> beasts<MG2341> at Ephesus<MG2181>, what<MG5101> good<MG3786> is it to me? If<MG1487> the dead<MG3498> are not raised<MG1453>, LET’S EAT<MG2068> AND DRINK<MG4095>, FOR TOMORROW<MG839> WE DIE<MG599>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-33.htm">33</a>Do not be deceived<MG4105>: “Bad<MG2556> company<MG3657> corrupts<MG5351> good<MG5543> morals<MG2239>.” <a href="/1_corinthians/15-34.htm">34</a>Sober<MG1594> up<MG1594> <a href="#fn">[n]</a>morally<MG1346> and stop<MG3361> sinning<MG264>, for some<MG5100> have<MG2192> no<MG56> knowledge<MG56> of God<MG2316>. I say<MG2980> this to your shame<MG1791>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-35.htm">35</a>But someone<MG5100> will say<MG3004>, “How<MG4459> are the dead<MG3498> raised<MG1453>? And with what<MG4169> kind<MG4169> of body<MG4983> do they come<MG2064>?” <a href="/1_corinthians/15-36.htm">36</a>You fool<MG878>! That which<MG3739> you sow<MG4687> does not come<MG2227> to<MG2227> life<MG2227> unless<MG1437, 3361> it dies<MG599>; <a href="/1_corinthians/15-37.htm">37</a>and that which<MG3739> you sow<MG4687>, you do not sow<MG4687> the body<MG4983> which is to be, but a bare<MG1131> grain<MG2848>, perhaps<MG5177> of wheat<MG4621> or<MG2228> of <a href="#fn">[o]</a>something<MG5100> else<MG3062>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-38.htm">38</a>But God<MG2316> gives<MG1325> it a body<MG4983> just<MG2531a> as<MG2531a> He wished<MG2309>, and to each<MG1538> of the seeds<MG4690> a body<MG4983> of its own<MG2398>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-39.htm">39</a>All<MG3956> flesh<MG4561> is not the same<MG846> flesh<MG4561>, but there is one<MG243> flesh of mankind<MG444>, another<MG243> flesh<MG4561> of animals<MG2934>, another<MG243> flesh<MG4561> of birds<MG4421>, and another<MG243> of fish<MG2486>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-40.htm">40</a>There are also<MG2532> heavenly<MG2032> bodies<MG4983> and earthly<MG1919> bodies<MG4983>, but the glory<MG1391> of the heavenly<MG2032> is one<MG2087>, and the glory of the earthly<MG1919> is another<MG2087>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-41.htm">41</a>There is one<MG243> glory<MG1391> of the sun<MG2246>, another<MG243> glory<MG1391> of the moon<MG4582>, and another<MG243> glory<MG1391> of the stars<MG792>; for star<MG792> differs<MG1308> from star<MG792> in glory<MG1391>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-42.htm">42</a>So<MG3779> also<MG2532> is the resurrection<MG386> of the dead<MG3498>. It is sown<MG4687> <a href="#fn">[p]</a>a perishable<MG5356> body, it is raised<MG1453> <a href="#fn">[q]</a>an imperishable<MG861> body; <a href="/1_corinthians/15-43.htm">43</a>it is sown<MG4687> in dishonor<MG819>, it is raised<MG1453> in glory<MG1391>; it is sown<MG4687> in weakness<MG769>, it is raised<MG1453> in power<MG1411>; <a href="/1_corinthians/15-44.htm">44</a>it is sown<MG4687> a natural<MG5591> body<MG4983>, it is raised<MG1453> a spiritual<MG4152> body<MG4983>. If<MG1487> there is a natural<MG5591> body<MG4983>, there is also<MG2532> a spiritual<MG4152> body. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-45.htm">45</a>So<MG3779> also<MG2532> it is written<MG1125>: “The first<MG4413> MAN<MG444>, Adam<MG76>, BECAME<MG1096> A LIVING<MG2198> <a href="#fn">[r]</a>PERSON<MG5590>.” The last<MG2078> Adam<MG76> was a life-giving<MG2227> spirit<MG4151>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-46.htm">46</a>However<MG235>, the spiritual<MG4152> is not first<MG4413>, but the natural<MG5591>; then<MG1899> the spiritual<MG4152>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-47.htm">47</a>The first<MG4413> man<MG444> is from the earth<MG1093>, <a href="#fn">[s]</a>earthy<MG5517>; the second<MG1208> man<MG444> is from heaven<MG3772>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-48.htm">48</a>As is the earthy<MG5517> one, so<MG5108> also<MG2532> are those<MG3588> who are earthy<MG5517>; and as is the heavenly<MG2032> one, so<MG5108> also<MG2532> are those<MG3588> who are heavenly<MG2032>. <a href="/1_corinthians/15-49.htm">49</a>Just<MG2531a> as<MG2531a> we have borne<MG5409> the image<MG1504> of the earthy<MG5517>, <a href="#fn">[t]</a>we will also<MG2532> bear<MG5409> the image<MG1504> of the heavenly<MG2032>.
