The most useful blurbs would highlight the unique qualities surrounding the tag that make it so interesting.</p> <p><strong>What makes for a BAD blurb?</strong></p> <p>Blurbs are not an advertising platform. Please do not blurb purely about your own business or to advertise sites. Posting for the purpose of driving traffic is not allowed. This includes any pyramid schemes, free offers, money making ventures, etc. </p> <p>Purposely spamming with senseless or empty messages is highly frowned upon. This includes such things as chain letters, two-word "I agree" or "me too" responses, one word replies, or posting the same blurb on the tag page or across several tag pages multiple times.</p> <p>Please do not blurb about subjects that are unrelated to the tag.</p> <p>NO personal attacks or explicit content. We can handle strong language, but there's no need for lewdness, hate speech and other offensive displays. Please be mindful. </p> <p>Original Content. Use your own words to blurb. Please do not copy and paste content from another site.</p> <p><strong>Other Important Stuff</strong></p> <p>Technorati reserves the right to choose the guidelines of objectionable content based on its knowledge of users and company policy. These issues are left to the discretion of the individual moderators, but may include any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, misleading, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, racist, sexist, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy or that otherwise violates any law or encourages conduct constituting a criminal offense.</p> <p>Technorati has the right but not the obligation to monitor and/or moderate tag blurbs. Technorati is not responsible for blurbs posted or the content therein. Unless expressly stated otherwise, this includes messages posted by Technorati personnel, agents, representatives et al. Technorati reserves the right to reveal the identity of or whatever information we know about any user in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any blurb posted by said user.</p> <p>Technorati reserves the right to change any or all other parts of this User Agreement at its sole discretion and without notice, including but not limited to implementing Rules of Conduct, Terms of Service and/or other measures. </p> <p>By registering, users agree that any blurb that violates moderation rules may be removed at the sole discretion of Technorati.
