Dr. Al-Wahab Al-Shaaban had been returned recently to Iraq (<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120802013316/http://www.iraqsolidaridad.org/">CEOSI</a>).<br/> With this dreadful crime, committed last October 14, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120802013316/http://www.iraqsolidaridad.org/2004-2005/docs/represion_11-11-05.html">307 Iraqi university professors have been killed</a> since the beginning of the UK-US lead occupation. </p> <p>Dos académicos asesinados tras regresar a Iraq </p> <p>El hecho de que dos de los últimos académicos asesinados en Iraq hubieran regresado recientemente al país parece contradecir las recientes afirmaciones del ministro iraquí de Educación Superior, Abed Thiab al-Ajili, en las que afirmaba que <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120802013316/http://iraqiacademicsunderattack.wordpress.com/2010/10/04/a-message-from-iraq-to-its-exiled-scholars-please-consider-returning/">la seguridad en las universidades iraquíes había mejorado sensiblemente en los últimos tres años</a>.
