Πλην της κορυφαίας plug-in υβριδικής έκδοσης, την γκάμα της ανανεωμένης Panamera συμπληρώνουν επίσης η επίσης plug-in υβριδική 4 Ε-Hybrid καθώς και η 4S οι οποίες θα είναι στο σύνολό τους διαθέσιμες τόσο στην τετράθυρη εκδοχή αμαξώματος όσο και στην πρακτικότερη Sport Turismo. Ξεκινώντας από την ισχυρότερη όλων, η Turbo S E-Hybrid αξιοποιεί το συνδυασμό ενός twin-turbo V8 κινητήρα με χωρητικότητα 4,0 λίτρων και ισχύ 571 ίππων με ηλεκτρικό μοτέρ 136 ίππων το οποίο ενσωματώνεται στο αυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη οκτώ σχέσεων. Η συνδυαστική απόδοση διαμορφώνεται σε 699 ίππους και 870 Nm ροπής χαρίζοντας στην συγκεκριμένη έκδοση τον τίτλο της ισχυρότερης Panamera στην ομολογουμένως σχετικά σύντομη ιστορία του μοντέλου που βρίσκεται στον κύκλο ανανέωσης της δεύτερης γενιάς του. Τα παραπάνω μεγέθη μεταφράζονται στη δυνατότητα της S E-Hybrid να επιταχύνει από 0-100 χλμ./ώρα σε 3,2 δευτερόλεπτα δηλαδή σε χρόνο μειωμένο κατά 2/10 του δευτερολέπτου μειωμένου σε σχέση με την προ-ανανέωσης αντίστοιχη έκδοση. Παράλληλα η μέγιστη ταχύτητά της έχει αυξηθεί κατά 5 χλμ. σε 315 χλμ./ώρα όπως επιβάλλουν λόγοι κύρους του είδους όπου ανήκει και χωρίς μάλλον αυτά τα πέντε χιλιόμετρα να έχουν ουσιαστική διαφορά στην καθημερινότητα του οδηγού της. Στις βελτιώσεις συγκαταλέγεται και μια νέα, μεγαλύτερης απόδοσης μπαταρία 17,8 kWh -έναντι 14,8 kWh- η οποία εξασφαλίζει ηλεκτρική αυτονομία 50 χλμ. βάσει του πρωτοκόλλου WLTP. Από την ίδια μπαταρία επωφελείται και η ανανεωμένη 4 E-Hybrid η οποία ωστόσο προσφέρει ηλεκτρική αυτονομία 56 χλμ. Σε ό,τι αφορά το κινητήριο σύνολο αποτελείται από turbo V6 κινητήρα και ηλεκτρικό μοτέρ εξασφαλίζοντας συνδυαστική ισχύ 461 ίππων. Η επιτάχυνση της συγκεκριμένης έκδοσης από 0-100 χλμ./ώρα απαιτεί 4,4 δευτερόλεπτα ενώ η μέγιστη ταχύτητά της διαμορφώνεται σε 280 χλμ./ώρα. Την ανανεωμένη γκάμα συμπληρώνει η παρουσία της «συμβατικής» τετρακίνητης έκδοσης Panamera 4S η οποία επωφελείται από V6 κινητήρα με χωρητικότητα 2,9 λίτρων απόδοσης 440 ίππων που εξασφαλίζει τη δυνατότητα επιτάχυνσης από 0-100 χλμ./ώρα σε 4,1 δευτερόλεπτα. Η μέγιστη ταχύτητα διαμορφώνεται σε 295 χλμ./ώρα. Οι νέες εκδόσεις εναρμονίζονται αισθητικά με τις αναβαθμίσεις των υπόλοιπων Panamera που πρωτοεμφανίστηκαν τον περασμένο Αύγουστο με πιο «ορατές» τις διαφοροποιήσεις που ακολουθούν την κορυφαία έκδοση S E-Hybrid. Αυτή διαθέτει πιο ευμεγέθεις εισαγωγές αέρα, και ενσωματώνει φωτιστικά σώματα σε μοτίβο C τα οποία οι αγοραστές της μπορούν να επιλέξουν με πιο σκούρο περίβλημα. Στο πίσω τμήμα ξεχωρίζει το κοινό για όλες τις Panamera φως LED που διατρέχει όλο το πλάτος της πέμπτης θύρας. Στις νέες επιλογές συγκαταλέγονται και δύο νέες αποχρώσεις ενώ αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι στον βασικό εξοπλισμό της συγκεκριμένης έκδοσης περιλαμβάνονται σύστημα τετραδιεύθυνσης, το Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport με το σύστημα διαχείρισης ροπής και το σύστημα υποβοήθησης διεύθυνσης στην έκδοση Plus καθώς και κεραμικά carbon δισκόφρενα.';
