Its main roles are to provide ongoing guidance, advice, and support to the elected officers of the political organs on topics of their interest and competence as well as priority matters, furnishing the necessary structure, expertise and experience to enable member states to engage in dialogue and negotiations, thereby moving decision-making processes forward. <br/><br/> The OSAG has a highly qualified, multidisciplinary staff of professional and administrative personnel with extensive work experience, who are committed to the values and principles for which the OAS stands.
