The print add-on option requires concurrent online subscriptions to the respective journals. </p> <p>The print journals can only be shipped to the same address and account as the online subscription. Orders must be paid in advance of the subscription year to avoid any delays in access and print delivery. Payments are non-refundable. There is only one price for print add-ons (no tier designation). For international shipments, APS is not responsible for duties, taxes, or delays due to customs inspections. It is the responsibility of the subscriber to cover all applicable taxes and fees imposed by their local jurisdiction.</p> <p>Please email the APS Subscription Service at <a href="mailto:subs@aps.org">subs@aps.org</a> for ordering information.</p> <a name="cd-roms"></a> <hr> <h3 data-magellan-destination="cd-roms">CD-ROMs</h3> <p>CD-ROMs are published annually for APS journal titles and are available with a paid online subscription. The number of discs in each CD-ROM set will vary depending on the specific journal. Back volumes are also available, but a historical online subscription is required for purchase.</p> <p>The CD-ROM is a hybrid HTML/PDF CD-ROM that allows the "electronic shelving" of each journal. It contains PDFs of the year's journals to allow the transfer of the information onto the subscribing institution's server, thus "shelving" the information contained in the printed journals. The disc contains all of the articles for the year in PDF format and is the functional equivalent of a bound volume. This product provides the opportunity for users to secure their own archival copy of the annual issues.</p> <p>The root directory contains an HTML document that links to each issue's table of contents, also in HTML format. Each issue has its own directory, which includes the HTML table of contents and PDF files of the articles. These files may be read with any conventional web browser and appropriate PDF viewer (such as Adobe Reader).</p> <p>Access is limited subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the current journal subscription. APS online journals and their content, including abstracts, are copyrighted by the APS and are subject to all applicable copyright, database protection, and other rights of the APS as copyright owner and publisher under the laws of the United States and other countries.</p> <p>CD-DOMs are available in limited quantities for volume years 2000 through 2022.
