The study has been applied on a purposeful sample of 10 th grade students at public schools in Bethlehem district in the academic year 2015/2016. The sample included (139) students (61 males and 78 females) at AL-Awda Basic School for Girls, Bethlehem Secondary Boys’ School. Students were assigned to experimental and control groups, the experimental group was taught by using the “SQP2RS via WTL” strategy, while the control group was taught by the traditional method. The researchers have prepared a reading comprehension achievement test. Content validity and reliability were established for the test. The experiment has lasted three months, a pre-test and post-test were performed using the reading comprehension achievement test to measure the effect of using the “SQP2RS via WTL” strategy. The study has been applied on a purposeful sample of 10 th grade students at public schools in Bethlehem district in the academic year 2015/2016. The sample included (139) students (61 males and 78 females) at AL-Awda Basic School for Girls, Bethlehem Secondary Boys&#39; School. Students were assigned to experimental and control groups, the experimental group was taught by using the &quot; SQP2RS via WTL &quot; strategy, while the control group was taught by the traditional method. The researchers have prepared a reading comprehension achievement test. Content validity and reliability were established for the test. The experiment has lasted three months, a pre-test and post-test were performed using the reading comprehension achievement test to measure the effect of using the &quot; SQP2RS via WTL &quot; strategy. The means and standard deviation, (3-way ANCOVA) test, were used in the study. The findings of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in the mean scores of 10 th graders&#39; reading comprehension in the English language due to the teaching method in favor of the experimental group, the level of pre-achievement in favor of the high achievement group, the interaction between group and gender in favor of the female in the experimental group, the interaction between group and level of pre-achievement in favor of the high achievement in the experimental group, the interaction between gender and level of pre-achievement in favor of the male in the high achievement group and the interaction between group, gender and level of pre-achievement in favor of the high achievement male students in the experimental group. And there were no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of 10 th graders&#39; reading comprehension in the English language due to gender. The research findings shows that the implementation of SQ3R technique could improve the students&#39; reading comprehension ability especially the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Saluputti and the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Saluputti have good perception towards the use of SQ3R technique. The sampling was constituted by 57 students from two different branches of the Ataturk Elementary School in the center of Usak region during the 2 nd semester of the 2013-2014 academic year. Reading comprehension skill achievement questions prepared by the researcher and it was used as the data collection tool. These questions were implemented to both groups before the experiment. Independent sample t-test and Kruskal Wallis-test methods were used for data analysis. The data were collected using reading comprehension achievement test and questionnaires. The population of this study were 120 students (43 male students and 77 female students) of Islamic Religion Education Department of Tarbiyah Faculty at IAIN Raden Fatah Palembang. They have been selected by using cluster random sampling techniques as the research sample. The number of the sample was 40 students. The students were grouped into two: the experimental group was taught using SQRW technique and the control group was taught using conventional technique. Each group consisted of 20 students. The data collected by means of pretest given both groups before the treatment and a posttest given after the treatment to both groups. During the experiment and control groups, which covered 16 meetings and lasted in one and a half months. To check whether the application of the instruction could run well as it was designed, the students were evaluated using t-test analysis of SPSS version 12. The results showed that there was a significant difference between students who were taught by using SQRW technique and the students who were taught by using conventional technique. This study uses a qualitative case study conducted at one of the state vocational school in Purwakarta. It involves 4 students. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The data from 2 instruments were analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of SQ3R helps students to understand English words. According to Apandi (2011), SQ3R helps the students to understand English words. The students also responded positively to the implementation of SQ3R. The research study was used action research method. The sampling was taken by 34 students. The validity of data used credibility, transferability, dependability, and conformability. Reading comprehension ability achievement questions prepared by the researcher. It was used as the data collecting tool. These questions were implemented to both groups before the experiment. Independent sample t-test was used for data analysis. The result of the study that t-test result is t-stat (11.3)&gt; t-table (1.997).
