At existing exchange rates, the 50 Forint stamp was worth about 0.25 U.S. dollars. </FONT></P> <P><FONT SIZE="+3">T</FONT><FONT SIZE="+1">he stamp combines a free interpretation of Szilard's face with designs representing his contributions to nuclear energy and information theory.</FONT></P> <P><FONT SIZE="+3">A</FONT><FONT SIZE="+1">n envelope postmarked on the first day of issue of a new stamp is called a "first-day cover."
