class="show_info_con">临沧是中国佤族文化的荟萃之地。全区现有佤族人口21.7万人，占全国佤族总人口的60％，占全区少数民族人口的26.5％。沧源佤族自治县是佤族最集中的地区。有距今3000多年历史的沧源崖画，有与缅甸山水相连的南滚河国家级自然保护区，有广允佛寺、班洪抗英遗址、勐来溶洞等众多名胜古迹，在保留较完整的翁丁佤族原始群居村落，加之佤族民间的文学艺术和独特的饮食文化，集中展现了中国佤族文化的丰富内涵。除了春节、圣诞节、火把节等来自其他民族的节日外，佤族自己还有新米节、播种节等。 <br /> 插种节：又称“惹岛”节。在山峦重叠的阿佤山上，每当春耕季节，勤劳的佤族人民便忙着耙田耕地，准备插种稻谷，同时举行饶有风趣的插种节。插种节当天，大家要修筑好村中的道路，各家房屋内外打扫干净，青壮年自动组成几个小组，有的上山去狩猎，有的在河边捕鱼。打得的猎物和捕到的鱼，煮成稀饭，大家共享。如果猎手们打到大的马鹿，野猪等返寨时，人们都到寨门去迎接，唱起猎歌。有全寨性活动和各户单独活动两种形式。全寨性的活动，要在寨中广场上剽牛一头，然后将牛肉切成块，按户各分一块；各家独过“惹岛”节时，每家主妇要到自己的田地里，做些象征的插种动作。傍晚，全寨男女老幼聚集在通红的火塘边，饮酒唱祝福的歌。领唱者必须是年长者或者德高望重的老歌手。 <br /> <br /> <br />新米节：在每年农历的七至八日，要分别过两次“新米节”。七月，早稻开始成熟，过第一次“新米节”。佤语叫“朋奥”或“波奥”。八月，稻谷大量成熟，第二次过“新米节”。它又称“吃新米”，佤语叫“朋挺”或叫“奥瓦”。“新米节”这一天，主人早起准备好过节的鸡、猪、牛肉，然后背背箩上稻谷地采新谷。路途中，注意聆听动物的叫声，如中途听到麂子或角布落（鸟）的叫声，就认为不吉利，马上返家将过节的日子往后推。若无异常，继续上路。采来的谷物献在神台前，用手把谷穗搓出谷粒，用铁锅炒干，舂出新米，撒些盐巴献在神台片刻后煮成饭，再舀出来放上鸡、猪、牛肉撒上盐巴，献在神台上，请魔巴念咒语，意思是报请祖宗的亡灵回来吃新。保佑家人平安。若无魔巴在场，主人就对着神台“啪”地咋一下嘴，表示祖宗已经来吃过饭。敬过神的新米饭，一定要让魔巴和家里的老人先吃，这是家祭的规矩。举行家祭期间，不许外人进家门。主人让自家小孩在门外“放哨”。如遇外人找，小孩就婉言拒绝进屋。祭礼仪式结束后，主人把门打开，把自家过“新米节”的消息向全寨人公开，邀请寨里人过“新米节”。络绎不绝的客人带着礼物来祝贺，热烈欢度“新米节”。
