Learn about how to encourage visitors to explore the exhibits and help empower them to make their own deductions\, telling a few CERN stories along the w ay.\nIt鈥檚 perhaps an opportunity to change some vocations\, to help a br oad spectrum of public engage with science and have fun.\nThis training pr epares you for guiding in the exhibition areas of Science Gateway\, coveri ng topics such as asking open questions to encourage exploration and some basic accessibility dos and don鈥檛s. This is not a complete explanation o f all the exhibition content and prospective guides will need to spend som e additional time familiarising themselves with exhibits in the area they chose to guide.\nPre-requisites - ideally you will have followed the Scien ce Communication course for guides and the Building information & Safety c ourse before taking this training. But this is not obligatory\, particular ly in the run up to opening when all courses begin. 聽You should be at eas e communicating in either English or French.聽 A minimum level of French i s recommended\, because of the number of local visitors expected\, but it is not obligatory.\n\nThe number of participants per training is limited t o 18. Therefore\, should you not be able to join\, please cancel your part icipation or聽inform us as soon as possible.
