Truly<MG281> I say<MG3004> to you, not one stone<MG3037> here<MG5602> will be left<MG863> upon another<MG3037>, which<MG3739> will not be torn<MG2647> down<MG2647>.” <a href="/matthew/24-3.htm">3</a>And as He was sitting<MG2521> on the Mount<MG3735> of Olives<MG1636>, the disciples<MG3101> came<MG4334> to Him privately<MG2596, 2398>, saying<MG3004>, “Tell<MG3004> us, when<MG4219> will these<MG3778> things<MG3778> happen<MG1510>, and what<MG5101> will be the sign<MG4592> of Your coming<MG3952>, and of the <a href="#fn">[b]</a>end<MG4930> of the age<MG165>?” <a href="/matthew/24-4.htm">4</a>And Jesus<MG2424> answered<MG611> and said<MG3004> to them, “See<MG991> to it that no<MG3361> one<MG5100> <a href="#fn">[c]</a>misleads<MG4105> you. <a href="/matthew/24-5.htm">5</a>For many<MG4183> will come<MG2064> in My name<MG3686>, saying<MG3004>, ‘I am<MG1510> the <a href="#fn">[d]</a>Christ<MG5547>,’ and they will <a href="#fn">[e]</a>mislead<MG4105> many<MG4183> people<MG4183>. <a href="/matthew/24-6.htm">6</a>And you will<MG3195> be hearing<MG191> of wars<MG4171> and rumors<MG189> of wars<MG4171>. See<MG3708> that you are not alarmed<MG2360>, for those things must<MG1163> take<MG1096> place<MG1096>, but that is not yet<MG3768> the end<MG5056>. <a href="/matthew/24-7.htm">7</a>For nation<MG1484> will rise<MG1453> against<MG1909> nation<MG1484>, and kingdom<MG932> against<MG1909> kingdom<MG932>, and there will be famines<MG3042> and earthquakes<MG4578> in various<MG2596> places<MG5117>. <a href="/matthew/24-8.htm">8</a>But all<MG3956> these<MG3778> things<MG3778> are merely the beginning<MG746> of birth<MG5604> pains<MG5604>. <a href="/matthew/24-9.htm">9</a>“Then<MG5119> they will hand<MG3860> you over<MG3860> to tribulation<MG2347> and kill<MG615> you, and you will be hated<MG3404> by all<MG3956> nations<MG1484> because<MG1223> of My name<MG3686>. <a href="/matthew/24-10.htm">10</a>And at that time<MG5119> many<MG4183> will <a href="#fn">[f]</a>fall<MG4624> away<MG4624>, and they will <a href="#fn">[g]</a>betray<MG3860> one<MG240> another<MG240> and hate<MG3404> one<MG240> another<MG240>. <a href="/matthew/24-11.htm">11</a>And many<MG4183> false<MG5578> prophets<MG5578> will rise<MG1453> up<MG1453> and <a href="#fn">[h]</a>mislead<MG4105> many<MG4183> people<MG4183>. <a href="/matthew/24-12.htm">12</a>And because<MG1223> lawlessness<MG458> is increased<MG4129>, <a href="#fn">[i]</a>most<MG4183> people’s<MG4183> love<MG26> will become<MG5594> cold<MG5594>. <a href="/matthew/24-13.htm">13</a>But the one who endures<MG5278> to the end<MG5056> is the<MG3778> one<MG3778> who will be saved<MG4982>. <a href="/matthew/24-14.htm">14</a>This<MG3778> gospel<MG2098> of the kingdom<MG932> shall be preached<MG2784> in the whole<MG3650> <a href="#fn">[j]</a>world<MG3625> as a testimony<MG3142> to all<MG3956> the nations<MG1484>, and then<MG5119> the end<MG5056> will come<MG2240>. Perilous Times<a href="/matthew/24-15.htm">15</a>“Therefore<MG3767> when<MG3752> you see<MG3708> the ABOMINATION<MG946> OF DESOLATION<MG2050> which was spoken<MG3004> of through<MG1223> Daniel<MG1158> the prophet<MG4396>, standing<MG2476> in the holy<MG40> place<MG5117>—<a href="#fn">[k]</a>let the <a href="#fn">[l]</a>reader<MG314> understand<MG3539>— <a href="/matthew/24-16.htm">16</a>then<MG5119> those<MG3588> who<MG3588> are in Judea<MG2449> must flee<MG5343> to the mountains<MG3735>. <a href="/matthew/24-17.htm">17</a><a href="#fn">[m]</a>Whoever<MG3588> is on the <a href="#fn">[n]</a>housetop<MG1430> must not go<MG2597> down<MG2597> to get<MG142> things out of his house<MG3614>. <a href="/matthew/24-18.htm">18</a>And <a href="#fn">[o]</a>whoever<MG3588> is in the field<MG68> must not turn<MG1994> back<MG3694, 1994> to get<MG142> his cloak<MG2440>. <a href="/matthew/24-19.htm">19</a>But woe<MG3759> to those<MG3588> women<MG3588> who are pregnant<MG2192, 1064>, and to those<MG3588> who are nursing<MG2337> babies<MG2337> in those<MG3588> days<MG2250>! <a href="/matthew/24-20.htm">20</a>Moreover<MG1161>, pray<MG4336> that <a href="#fn">[p]</a>when<MG5437> you flee<MG5437>, it will not be in the winter<MG5494>, or<MG3366> on a Sabbath<MG4521>. <a href="/matthew/24-21.htm">21</a>For then<MG5119> there will be a great<MG3173> tribulation<MG2347>, such<MG3634> as has not occurred<MG1096> since<MG575> the beginning<MG746> of the world<MG2889> until<MG2193> now<MG3568>, nor<MG3761> ever<MG3756, 3361> will again. <a href="/matthew/24-22.htm">22</a>And if<MG1487> those<MG1565> days<MG2250> had not been cut<MG2856> short<MG2856>, no<MG3756, 3956> <a href="#fn">[q]</a>life<MG4561> would have been saved<MG4982>; but for the sake<MG1223> of the <a href="#fn">[r]</a>elect<MG1588> those<MG1565> days<MG2250> will be cut<MG2856> short<MG2856>. <a href="/matthew/24-23.htm">23</a>Then<MG5119> if<MG1437> anyone<MG5100> says<MG3004> to you, ‘Behold<MG2400>, here<MG5602> is the <a href="#fn">[s]</a>Christ<MG5547>,’ or<MG2228> ‘He is over here<MG5602>,’ do not believe<MG4100> him. <a href="/matthew/24-24.htm">24</a>For false<MG5580> christs<MG5580> and false<MG5578> prophets<MG5578> will arise<MG1453> and will provide<MG1325> great<MG3173> <a href="#fn">[t]</a>signs<MG4592> and wonders<MG5059>, so<MG5620> as to mislead<MG4105>, if<MG1487> possible<MG1415>, even<MG2532> the <a href="#fn">[u]</a>elect<MG1588>. <a href="/matthew/24-25.htm">25</a>Behold<MG2400>, I have told<MG4275b> you in<MG4275b> advance<MG4275b>. <a href="/matthew/24-26.htm">26</a>So<MG3767> if<MG1437> they say<MG3004> to you, ‘Behold<MG2400>, He is in the wilderness<MG2048>,’ do not go<MG1831> out<MG1831>; or, ‘Behold<MG2400>, He is in the inner<MG5009> rooms<MG5009>,’ do not believe<MG4100> them. <a href="/matthew/24-27.htm">27</a>For just<MG5618> as the lightning<MG796> comes<MG1831> from the east<MG395> and flashes<MG5316> as<MG2193> far<MG2193> as<MG2193> the west<MG1424>, so<MG3779> will the coming<MG3952> of the Son<MG5207> of Man<MG444> <a href="#fn">[v]</a>be. <a href="/matthew/24-28.htm">28</a>Wherever<MG3699, 1437> the corpse<MG4430> is, there<MG1563> the <a href="#fn">[w]</a>vultures<MG105> will gather<MG4863>. The Glorious Return<a href="/matthew/24-29.htm">29</a>“But immediately<MG2112> after<MG3326> the tribulation<MG2347> of those<MG1565> days<MG2250> THE SUN<MG2246> WILL BE DARKENED<MG4654>, AND THE MOON<MG4582> WILL NOT GIVE<MG1325> ITS LIGHT<MG5338>, AND THE STARS<MG792> WILL FALL<MG4098> from the sky<MG3772>, and the powers<MG1411> of the heavens<MG3772> will be shaken<MG4531>. <a href="/matthew/24-30.htm">30</a>And then<MG5119> the sign<MG4592> of the Son<MG5207> of Man<MG444> will appear<MG5316> in the sky<MG3772>, and then<MG5119> all<MG3956> the tribes<MG5443> of the earth<MG1093> will mourn<MG2875>, and they will see<MG3708> the SON<MG5207> OF MAN<MG444> COMING<MG2064> ON THE CLOUDS<MG3507> OF THE SKY<MG3772> with power<MG1411> and great<MG4183> glory<MG1391>. <a href="/matthew/24-31.htm">31</a>And He will send<MG649> forth<MG649> His angels<MG32a> with A GREAT<MG3173> TRUMPET<MG4536> BLAST<MG4536>, and THEY WILL GATHER<MG1996> TOGETHER<MG1996> His <a href="#fn">[x]</a>elect<MG1588> from the four<MG5064> winds<MG417>, from one end<MG206> of the sky<MG3772> to the other<MG206>. Parable of the Fig Tree<a href="/matthew/24-32.htm">32</a>“Now<MG1161> learn<MG3129> the parable<MG3850b> from the fig<MG4808> tree<MG4808>: as soon<MG3752, 2235> as its branch<MG2798> has become<MG1096> tender<MG527> and sprouts<MG1631> its leaves<MG5444>, you know<MG1097> that summer<MG2330> is near<MG1451>; <a href="/matthew/24-33.htm">33</a>so<MG3779> you too<MG2532>, when<MG3752> you see<MG3708> all<MG3956> these<MG3778> things<MG3778>, <a href="#fn">[y]</a>recognize<MG1097> that <a href="#fn">[z]</a>He is near<MG1451>, right at the <a href="#fn">[aa]</a>door<MG2374>. <a href="/matthew/24-34.htm">34</a>Truly<MG281> I say<MG3004> to you, this<MG3778> generation<MG1074> will not pass<MG3928> away<MG3928> until<MG2193> all<MG3956> these<MG3778> things<MG3778> take<MG1096> place<MG1096>. <a href="/matthew/24-35.htm">35</a>Heaven<MG3772> and earth<MG1093> will pass<MG3928> away<MG3928>, but My words<MG3056> will not pass<MG3928> away<MG3928>. <a href="/matthew/24-36.htm">36</a>“But about<MG4012> that day<MG2250> and hour<MG5610> no<MG3762> one<MG3762> knows<MG3609a>, not even<MG3761> the angels<MG32a> of heaven<MG3772>, nor<MG3761> the Son<MG5207>, but the Father<MG3962> alone<MG3441>. <a href="/matthew/24-37.htm">37</a>For <a href="#fn">[ab]</a>the coming<MG3952> of the Son<MG5207> of Man<MG444> will be just<MG5618> like<MG5618> the days<MG2250> of Noah<MG3575>. <a href="/matthew/24-38.htm">38</a>For as in those<MG1565> days<MG2250> before<MG4253> the flood<MG2627> they were eating<MG5176> and drinking<MG4095>, marrying<MG1060> and giving<MG1061a> in<MG1061a> marriage<MG1061a>, until<MG891> the day<MG2250> that Noah<MG3575> entered<MG1525> the ark<MG2787>, <a href="/matthew/24-39.htm">39</a>and they did not <a href="#fn">[ac]</a>understand<MG1097> until<MG2193> the flood<MG2627> came<MG2064> and took<MG142> them all<MG537a> away<MG142>; so<MG3779> will the coming<MG3952> of the Son<MG5207> of Man<MG444> be. <a href="/matthew/24-40.htm">40</a>At<MG5119> that<MG5119> time<MG5119> there will be two<MG1417> men in the field<MG68>; one<MG1520> <a href="#fn">[ad]</a>will be taken<MG3880> and one<MG1520> <a href="#fn">[ae]</a>will be left<MG863>. <a href="/matthew/24-41.htm">41</a>Two<MG1417> women will be grinding<MG229> at the <a href="#fn">[af]</a>mill<MG3458>; one<MG1520> <a href="#fn">[ag]</a>will be taken<MG3880> and one<MG1520> <a href="#fn">[ah]</a>will be left<MG863>.
