sustainable capacity of individuals and organizations to identify data needs, collect and analyze technically sound data, and use that data for <a title="Health Areas" class="internal-link" href="health-areas">health</a> decision-making.</p> <p>We develop, implement and facilitate state of the art methods for and <a title="Approaches" class="internal-link" href="our-work/approaches">approaches</a> to improving health information systems, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and data use; and we collect, share, and disseminate information, knowledge, and best practices in order to increase the use of data and advance the field of health monitoring and evaluation in many <a title="Where We Work" class="internal-link" href="our-work/where-we-work">countries</a>.</p> <p>As part of the Global Health Initiative, we use a business model based on: implementing a woman- and girl-centered approach; increasing impact and efficiency through strategic coordination and integration; strengthening and leveraging key partnerships, multilateral organizations, and private contributions; encouraging country ownership and investing in country-led plans; improving metrics, monitoring and evaluation; and promoting research and innovation.</p> <p>MEASURE Evaluation is a Leader with Associates cooperative agreement. This is a <a title="The Partnership" class="internal-link" href="the-partnership">partnership</a> of experienced organizations chosen competitively for their ability to assist the <a class="external-link" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20100702020451/http://www.usaid.gov/">U.S. Agency for International Development</a> (USAID) with addressing M&E needs.
