Surhan Tabakoglu</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mehmet%20Celik"> Mehmet Celik</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Bilge%20Kaan%20Tekelioglu"> Bilge Kaan Tekelioglu</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This study was conducted to investigate proximate compositions and fatty acid profiles of marketable size striped sea bream of obtained from fish cages of aquaculture companies and fishermen. Ten fish samples were used for both groups. The average total weight of farmed and wild samples was 252,75 卤 36,78 g and 193,0 卤 32 g respectively. While the protein level of farmed samples was (23,49卤0,15) higher than that of wild fish (21,80卤0,18), lipid level was less (1,55卤0,08) in farmed group than wild fish samples (2,52卤0,07). Amount of 危 SFA was significantly higher in wild group (44,09卤0,9) than the farmed (32,79卤1,13) group. Total MUFA were 36,38卤29,91 in wild and 29,91卤1,52 in farmed fish. However, 危 PUFA (27,89卤1,53) and EPA+DHA values (15,73卤1,63) of farmed samples were significantly higher than the wild (14,06 卤3,67 and 9,7卤0,86) counterparts. 危蠋3/蠋6 rate was better in farmed group with 2,54卤0,84 in comparison with (1,59卤0,06) the other group. As a result, it can be speculated that the farmed striped sea bream can be preferred by the consumers. Cakir</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Precast reinforced concrete (RC) structures are excellent alternatives for construction world all over the globe, thanks to their rapid erection phase, ease mounting process, better quality and reasonable prices. Such structures are rather popular for industrial buildings. For the sake of economic importance of such industrial buildings as well as significance of safety, like every other type of structures, performance assessment and structural risk analysis are important. Fragility curves are powerful tools for damage projection and assessment for any sort of building as well as precast structures. In this study, a comparative review of current knowledge on fragility analysis of industrial precast RC structures were presented and findings in previous studies were compiled. Effects of different structural variables, parameters and building geometries as well as soil conditions on fragility analysis of precast structures are reviewed. It was aimed to briefly present the information in the literature about the procedure of damage probability prediction including fragility curves for such industrial facilities. In order to measure the stakes of tourism on the economy, microeconomic and macroeconomic factors are elements of analysis. While microeconomics is limited to an individual perspective, macroeconomics extends to a global perspective and treats the economy as a whole by focusing on social and economic actors in general. It is in this context that this study focuses on macroeconomic variables in order to determine the factors that influence the financial performance of tourism firms in Turkey, which is one of the world's major destinations. The aim of the study is to demonstrate the relationship between macroeconomic variables and the financial performance of tourism firms. Data from 2011 to 2020 are collected, from a sample of 16 companies that represent the tourism sector in Borsa Istanbul. Tobin鈥檚 Q ratio, Market to Book ratio, Return on Invested Capital, and Return on Assets as the financial performance indicators were dependent variables of the study. Gross Domestic Products, Inflation, Interest Rates, and Unemployment as macroeconomic indicators were independent variables. Again, Size, Liquidity, Leverage, and Age were control variables of the study. According to the results, value indicators, which are Tobin鈥檚 Q ratio and Market to Book ratio, have a statistically significant relationship with Inflation, Interest Rates, and Unemployment. A negative relationship is found between value indicators and Interest rates and a positive relationship between value indicators and Unemployment and Inflation. On the other hand, there is no significant relationship between profit indicators (Return on Invested Capital and Return on Assets) and macroeconomic variables.
