<h3></h3> <p> </p> <p>The <strong>University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing </strong>(<strong>IHC</strong>) is a strategic initiative that aims to improve well-being, quality of life, diminish disease, and enhance health outcomes for all citizens of Maryland and beyond.</p> <p>The IHC merges top-tier computational expertise and biomedical research with a vast and geographically diverse clinical care network into a force for health care innovation. Funding support comes from strategic partner Montgomery County, Maryland, and from <em>MPower</em>.</p> <p>Based in North Bethesda, IHC will catalyze a clinical data science ecosystem and tap into industry and federal partners like the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Food and Drug Administration, Walter Reed Military Medical Center, and Naval Medical Research Center.</p>
