height="150"></p> <p>TZM alloy(Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) (High Temperature Alloy) is a solid-solution hardened and particle-strengthened molybdenum based alloy. The development of a Mo-Ti solid solution and the fine dispersed Ti-carbides are responsible for the excellent strength properties at temperatures up to 1400°C. The recrystallization temperature of TZM (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) alloy is approximately 250°C higher than moly and it offers better weldability.</p> <p>TZM alloy (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) is an alloy of 0.50% Titanium, 0.08% Zirconium and 0.02% Carbon with the balance molybdenum. TZM (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) is manufactured by either P/M or Arc Cast technologies and is of great utility due to its high strength/high temperature applications, especially above 2000°F.<br> <br> <img align="right" src="pic/TZM-Plate2.jpg" alt="TZM Plate" title="TZM Plate"> TZM Molybdenum (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) has a higher recrystallization temperature, higher strength, hardness and good ductility at room and elevated temperatures than unalloyed Molybdenum. In addition, TZM alloy (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) exhibits good thermal conductivity, low vapor pressure, good corrosion resistance and is machinable.</p> <p>TZM Molybdenum Products</p> <p>CTOMS stocks TZM molybdenum (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) in a variety of forms and dimensions. We can cut, slit, shear, or center less grind TZM Molybdenum to your exact specifications, and we also have tremendous versatility when it comes to custom sizes, packages, and unusual materials</p> <img align="right"src="pic/tzm sheet1.jpg" alt="TZM sheet/plate"title="TZM"> <p>The finer grain structure of TZM alloy (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) and the formation of TiC and ZrC in the grain boundaries of the moly inhibit grain growth and the related failure of the base metal as a result of fractures along the grain boundaries. This also gives it better properties for welding. TZM alloy costs approximately 25% more than pure molybdenum and costs only about 5-10% more to machine. For high strength applications such as rocket nozzles, furnace structural components, and forging dies, it can be well worth the cost differential.</p> <p align="left">TZM molybdenum is available in sheet and rod form in basically the same size range as moly with the exception of thin foil. Rembar is experienced in the fabrication of TZM alloy(Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum).
