After that, I returned on September 19 and started the article on <a href="/wiki/WWDP" title="WWDP">WWDP</a> (in those days, there was no <a href="/wiki/Wikipedia:AfC" class="mw-redirect" title="Wikipedia:AfC">Articles for Creation</a> process, and unregistered users could still create articles in mainspace; just months later, the <a href="/wiki/Wikipedia_Seigenthaler_biography_incident" title="Wikipedia Seigenthaler biography incident">Wikipedia Seigenthaler biography incident</a> brought that practice to an end); from there, I continued to create and edit articles on broadcast stations, especially TV stations — as well as a number of other things. A few days later (on September 25, 2005) I registered my account (the first edits simply picked up where my anon edits left off), and since then I have done many more edits to articles related to broadcasting, as well as the occasional other thing (such as roads) — though as the years have gone by the non-broadcasting-related edits have all but dried up, and a substantial amount of those that I <i>do</i> still make gravitate towards other media topics. (As for how many more edits have I made? Well, in the 19 years I've had this account, I've racked up roughly 122,000 edits — good enough to rank 623rd on the <a href="/wiki/Wikipedia:List_of_Wikipedians_by_number_of_edits" title="Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits">list of Wikipedians by number of edits</a> (as of November 2, 2024). (That's just the edits that remain visible in page histories; it's over <b>126,000</b> edits when factoring in since-deleted edits.) Additionally, I've revamped several template series' into more uniform styles (for their series — this was back in the days before <span class="nowrap">{{</span><a href="/wiki/Template:Ambox" title="Template:Ambox">ambox</a><span class="nowrap">}}</span>, <span class="nowrap">{{</span><a href="/wiki/Template:Imbox" title="Template:Imbox">imbox</a><span class="nowrap">}}</span>, and <span class="nowrap">{{</span><a href="/wiki/Template:Cmbox" title="Template:Cmbox">cmbox</a><span class="nowrap">}}</span>), and I make the occasional comment at <a href="/wiki/Wikipedia:XFD" class="mw-redirect" title="Wikipedia:XFD">XfD</a> discussions. </p><p>Of course, when I'm aware of vandalism that hasn't been reverted, that's exactly what I do — I revert it. I have been also known to discover when an article is about something that isn't really true. In fact, debunking a <a href="/wiki/K07RE" class="mw-redirect" title="K07RE">K07RE</a> that was affiliated with five networks at once (and predated <a href="/wiki/Low-power_broadcasting" title="Low-power broadcasting">LPTV</a>, the type of station it was purported to be, by some 20-25 years) as a hoax led to the first <a href="/wiki/Wikipedia:Barnstars" title="Wikipedia:Barnstars">barnstar</a> I received, which was a Barnstar of Diligence that was given to me by <a href="/wiki/User:Firsfron" title="User:Firsfron">Firsfron</a> (<a href="/wiki/User_talk:Firsfron" title="User talk:Firsfron">talk</a> <b>·</b> <a href="/wiki/Special:Contributions/Firsfron" title="Special:Contributions/Firsfron">contribs</a>) on August 22, 2006.
