I will make a helper suitable for him." As he prepared to die and not enter the Promised Land, Moses delivered a series of speeches recorded in Deuteronomy, reminding the people of God's laws and faithfulness. In <a href="/deuteronomy/31-6.htm">Deuteronomy 31:6</a>, he encourages them, saying, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" .
