You may use the HDL mark when referring to your identifiers and related identifier and/or resolution services using prefixes (or their functional equivalent) that are authorized by CNRI. The marks HANDLE.NET and HDL.NET may only be used when referring to the identifier, registration and/or resolution services offered by CNRI or its authorized trademark licensees. (Note that HANDLE SYSTEM, GLOBAL HANDLE REGISTRY and GHR are trademarks owned by the <a href="https://www.dona.net">DONA Foundation</a>.)</p> <p>None of these marks should be used by themselves to refer generically to identifiers for publicly available digital information systems and related identifier, registration and/or resolution services. Using any of these marks to refer to services offered by other parties may result in trademark infringement or other violations of law.</p> <div class="aligncenter" style="width:1000px;height:0;border-top:1px dotted #af2d29;font-size:0;">-</div> <p style="font-size: 14px; color: #af2d29">How should the registered marks appear?</p> <p>These marks should appear in unique stylization, and/or a different color from the other text to highlight their trademark significance. The preferred format is to use all capital letters, or at least initial capital letters. These marks are federally registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
