few set tabloid tongues wagging faster than the union of <a href="https://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/tommy-lee/">Tommy Lee</a> and Heather Locklear.</p><p>When the two tied the knot on May 10, 1986, their public images couldn't have been much further apart. Lee, like his <a href="https://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/motley-crue/">Mötley Crüe</a> bandmates, was rightly perceived as a reckless hedonist — and the band's music fit the <a href="https://ultimateclassicrock.com/rockers-testify-pmrc/">PMRC</a>-baiting stereotype of the allegedly devil-worshiping heavy metal that had parents and conservative pundits fearing for the future of the nation's youth. Locklear, meanwhile, had a virginal reputation furthered by her appearances as Sammy Jo Dean on <em>Dynasty</em> and Officer Stacy Sheridan on <em>T.J. According to <em><a href="http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20093727,00.html" target="_blank">People</a></em>, the couple met backstage at an <a href="https://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/reo-speedwagon/">REO Speedwagon</a> concert — after which Lee pursued Locklear with such fervor that she even forgave him after he mistook her for Heather Thomas from <em>The Fall Guy</em>. And as for Lee's devilish rep?</p><p>"Tommy doesn't worship the devil," laughed Locklear. "He worships me."</p><p>That definitely seemed to be the case when the two got hitched before 500 guests at the Biltmore in Santa Barbara. Although the ceremony followed celebrations that included, according to <em>People</em>, "a lingerie-and-sex-toy shower for Locklear and a bachelor party with 15 bikinied mud wrestlers for Lee," the happy couple presented themselves as the face of domestic bliss. "I think we'll be the coolest grandma and grandpa in the world," said Lee. "We'll be like 85 or 90. I'll still be a rock pig, and Heather will still be gorgeous."</p><p>Like many marriages, Lee and Locklear's union wasn't built to last. The two divorced in 1994, with Locklear going on to marry <a href="https://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/bon-jovi/">Bon Jovi</a> guitarist <a href="https://ultimateclassicrock.com/tags/richie-sambora/">Richie Sambora</a> at the end of the year. Lee drowned his sorrows a little longer, waiting until 1995 to hook up with the next great love of his life — and get hitched <a
