To save life (soul) or to kill? However they were silent. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-5.htm#literal"><b>5</b></a></span>And having looked around on them with anger, being grieved upon the hardness of their heart, He says to the man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched it out and his hand was restored. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-6.htm#literal"><b>6</b></a></span>And the Pharisees having gone out directly with the Herodians took consultation against Him on how they might destroy Him.<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-7.htm#literal"><b>7</b></a></span>And Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea; and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea, <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-8.htm#literal"><b>8</b></a></span>And from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and around Tyre and Sidon. And He comes unto a house<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-20.htm#literal"><b>20</b></a></span>and again a crowd comes together so that they are not able to even eat bread. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-21.htm#literal"><b>21</b></a></span>And those close beside (belonging to) Him having heard of it went out to lay hold of Him; for they said, He is out of His mind (standing out of himself, put out of place, &#8220;beside oneself&#8221; normally used as astonished). <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-22.htm#literal"><b>22</b></a></span>And the scribes having come down from Jerusalem, said, He has Beelzebul (latin-Beelzebub, greek-Beelzeboul, a name for Satan, a OT transliteration of BaalZebub-the lord of flies); and By the principal ruler (preeminent leader) of the demons He casts out the demons. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-23.htm#literal"><b>23</b></a></span>And having called them to Him, He said to them in parables, How is Satan able to cast out Satan? <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-24.htm#literal"><b>24</b></a></span>And if a kingdom is divided against (upon) itself, that kingdom is not able to stand. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-25.htm#literal"><b>25</b></a></span>And if a house is divided against (upon) itself, that house will not be able to stand. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-26.htm#literal"><b>26</b></a></span>And if Satan has risen up against (upon) himself and has been divided, he is not able to stand, but is coming to an end. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-27.htm#literal"><b>27</b></a></span>But no one is able, having entered into the house of the strong man to plunder his goods unless he first binds the strong man and then he will plunder (thoroughly seize/rapture) his house.<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-28.htm#literal"><b>28</b></a></span>Truly I say to you, that all sins will be remitted the sons of men and the blasphemies, as many as they shall have blasphemed. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-29.htm#literal"><b>29</b></a></span>However whoever anyhow shall blaspheme against (unto) the Holy Spirit, unto eternity (the age) has no remission, but is liable (held in, bound by) of eternal (age-long) sin&#8212; <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-30.htm#literal"><b>30</b></a></span>Because they said, He has an unclean spirit.<p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-31.htm#literal"><b>31</b></a></span>And His mother and His brothers arrived and standing outside, sent to Him, calling Him. <span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/mark/3-32.htm#literal"><b>32</b></a></span>And a crowd sat around Him.
