it Kadesh. <A name="38"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-37.htm"><b>37</b></a></span>And they will remove from Kadesh, and encamp in mount Hor, in the extremity of the land of Edom.<p> <A name="39"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-38.htm"><b>38</b></a></span>And Aaron the priest will go up to mount Hor by the mouth of Jehovah, and will die there in the fortieth year to the coming out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, in one to the month. <A name="40"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-39.htm"><b>39</b></a></span>And Aaron the son of three and twenty and a hundred years in his dying in mount Hor.<p> <A name="41"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-40.htm"><b>40</b></a></span>And the Canaanite, king Arad, will hear, and he will dwell in the south in the land Canaan, in the coming of the sons of Israel.<p> <A name="42"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-41.htm"><b>41</b></a></span>And they will remove from mount Hor, and encamp in Zalmonah. <A name="43"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-42.htm"><b>42</b></a></span>And they will remove from Zalmonah, and encamp in Punon. <A name="44"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-43.htm"><b>43</b></a></span>And they will remove from Pinion, and encamp in Oboth. <A name="45"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-44.htm"><b>44</b></a></span>And they will remove from Oboth, and encamp in the heaps of Abarim, in the bound of Moab. <A name="46"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-45.htm"><b>45</b></a></span>And they will remove from the heaps, and encamp in Dibon-Gad. <A name="47"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-46.htm"><b>46</b></a></span>And they will remove from Dibon-Gad, and encamp in Almon-Diblathaim. <A name="48"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-47.htm"><b>47</b></a></span>And they will remove from Almon-Diblathaim, and encamp in the mountains of Abarim before Nebo. <A name="49"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-48.htm"><b>48</b></a></span>And they will remove from the mountains of Abarim, and encamp in the desert of Moab by Jordan of Jericho. <A name="50"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-49.htm"><b>49</b></a></span>And they will encamp by Jordan, from the house of Jesimoth, to the meadow of acacias in the desert of Moab.<p> <A name="51"></a><p class="hdg">Instructions for Occupying Canaan<p><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-50.htm"><b>50</b></a></span>And Jehovah will speak to Moses in the desert of Moab, by Jordan of Jericho, saying, <A name="52"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-51.htm"><b>51</b></a></span>Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When ye are passing over Jordan to the land of Canaan, <A name="53"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-52.htm"><b>52</b></a></span>And have driven out all those dwelling in the land from before you, and destroy ye all their watch towers, and all their molten images ye shall destroy, and all their heights ye shall lay waste: <A name="54"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-53.htm"><b>53</b></a></span>And dispossess ye the land and dwell in it, for to you, I gave the land to possess it. <A name="55"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/numbers/33-54.htm"><b>54</b></a></span>And divide ye the land by lot to your tribes: to the many ye shall multiply his inheritance, and to the few ye shall diminish his inheritance;
