Slovenian Migration under Socialism draws on existing domestic and international academic literature, with additional examination of those sources, themes and issues that have been left out of previous interests and are essential for situating the issue within broader historical developments. The book situates migration, especially the various forms of emigration, in the history of Slovenian and European space, highlighting the organisation of Slovenian emigrants and the life stories of the actors involved in these processes.
