Borrero is a faculty specialist and post-master's research associate at the UMD School of Public Policy Center for Global Sustainability. Her work focuses on energy transition and climate change mitigation. At CGS, she researches coal and natural gas phaseout, how corporate investment impacts climate innovation, the impacts of subnational efforts on climate goals, and conducts integrated assessment modeling. She holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, and a Master鈥檚 degree in Economics and Bachelor's degree in Economics from Los Andes University, Colombia.
