Then the mother of Jesus says to Him, There is no wine. <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/john/2-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>And Jesus says to her, <FR>What is that to me and to thee? O woman, my hour is not yet come.<Fr> <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/john/2-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>His mother says to the servants, Do whatsoever He may say to you. <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/john/2-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>And there were six waterpots of stone sitting there according to the purification of the Jews, containing about two or three firkins. Jesus says to them, <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/john/2-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span><FR>Fill the waterpots with water.<Fr> They filled them to the brim. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/john/2-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>And He says to them, <FR>Now draw out and carry to the chief ruler of the feast,<Fr> <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/john/2-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>and they brought it to him.
