Such was the Oriental notion, see <a href="/zechariah/10-1.htm" title="Ask you of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.">Zechariah 10:1</a> and compare <a href="/1_samuel/12-17.htm" title="Is it not wheat harvest to day?
