Matter Nuclear Science (ISCMNS) was founded over 20 years ago, mainly on the initiative of the late Dr. William Collis, who for many years successfully ran the societies' core functions which included workshop meetings, newsletters and continuous outreach and connection programmes for the benefit of isolated researchers.</p><p class="sqsrte-small" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Due to William's unexpected death it has taken time to regain access to the ISCMNS domain and more, but with the generous help of Anthropocene Institute we are rebuilding this site in a flexible modern style.</p><p class="sqsrte-small" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">We are proud to announce that we are now mutually affiliated with both the Société Française de la Science Nucléaire dans la Matière Condensée (SFSNMC) and a very active society in Japan (JCFS). Collectively we are heading towards 500 members worldwide. Upcoming events are the 'Bill Collis Memorial Workshop' September 2024 in Strasbourg, France and a major conference, ICCF-26 to be held in Morioko, Japan in April 2025.</p><p class="sqsrte-small"
