and the Verein zur Durchführung Neurowissenschaftlicher Tagungen e. V. have commissioned CPO HANSER SERVICE with the organization and execution of the conference. Registration for the conference and confirmation therefore forms a contract between the conference attendee and the World Federation of ADHD and the Verein zur Durchführung Neurowissenschaftlicher Tagungen e. V. regarding attendance at the conference.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;margin-right:0cm">The contract is based on the following General Conditions:</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Registration fees and payment for the 10th World Congress on ADHD</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>Attendance at the congress is subject to cost. The educational seminars will take place within the framework of the 10<sup>th</sup> World Congress on ADHD. <strong>A separate registration fee will be charged for these events in addition to the conference fee.</strong> Registration for the conference and booking of services are binding for the attendee. The fees must be paid in advance on the dates specified. Any bank charges will be charged to the payer. Registration will be confirmed if payment is received.<br><br>Submission of a poster simultaneously results in binding registration of the speaker to attend the conference. The registration fee must be paid together with the submission of the contribution otherwise the poster will not be reviewed. <strong>Cancellation of conference attendance is possible at no additional cost if the poster is rejected by the scientific committee.</strong> In this case, the full registration fee will be refunded.</p><p>If the author withdraws a contribution after its acceptance by the scientific committee, registration for the conference will be maintained and there will be no refund of the registration fees.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Cancellation of Congress Attendance</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>In the event that you cancel your attendance at the congress and the educational seminars until 2 March 2025, the registration fee minus a processing fee of EUR 100 will be refunded. No refund will be made if cancellation is made at a later date. Please notify the conference office of your cancellation in writing. </p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Programme Changes</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>The World Federation of ADHD and the Verein zur Durchführung Neurowissenschaftlicher Tagungen e. V.  reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the programme at short notice. There will be no pro rata refund of registration fees for cancelled papers or changes to the programme.<br><br>In the event that educational seminars fail to take place due to cancellations by speakers, the registration fees for these practice seminars will be refunded. This will not apply – not even on a pro-rata basis – if the educational seminars are taken over by speakers other than those initially specified.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Loss of Name Badge</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>Participants are kindly requested to wear their name badge at all times during the congress. The name badge serves as an entry ticket to the congress. </p><p>In case an attendee loses or forgets her/his name badge, a deposit of EUR 50 must be paid to acquire a new badge. If the attendee is later able to return the newly acquired and the previously lost name badge, the the deposit of EUR 50 will be refunded.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Liability</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>CPO HANSER SERVICE is liable in keeping with diligence required of a prudent businessman, according to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Regardless of course in law the liability of CPO HANSER SERVICE shall be limited to damages which are caused with aforethought or by gross negligence. However, this shall not affect the liability of the Congress Organizer and of the persons or organizations responsible for providing means of transport or other services. The participants take part in all excursions at their own risk. Verbal agreement can only be considered as binding when confirmed by CPO HANSR SERVICE in writing.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Force Majeure</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>For reasons beyond its control (such as pandemics, war, strikes, lockouts, riots or any such civil disturbances, any acts of God, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, droughts and typhoons and any other cause of circumstance of whatsoever nature beyond its control that have an impact on the arrangements, timetables or planning of ADHD congress and its corresponding activities), ADHD has the right to immediately alter or cancel the activities or events or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly thereto. No party involved shall be entitled to any compensation for damages that result from such alteration or cancellation.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Venue of Jurisdiction</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>Hamburg, Germany, shall be place of jurisdiction for all parties. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Visibility of your personal data for other users</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>By giving your consent to the use and processing of your data you agree to the publication of your data (e.g. name, address, e-mail address) to other users so that they become visible to them.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Newsletter</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>If you have given your consent, we will send e-mail newsletters to you informing you about the congress you registered for and future congresses organized by us which could interest you. In case you do not want to receive the newsletter anymore, you can object to it at any time with effect for the future.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Data safety</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>Your data will generally be transferred to us in an encoded form to exclude access by unauthorized third parties. Your data will be stored on especially secured servers. They are only accessible to authorized persons who are familiar with the applicable data protection provisions. We cannot, however, guarantee the security of the data as unauthorized access, hardware and software defects and other factors can prejudice data security at any time.</p></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-headline"><div><h2>Links to other websites</h2></div></div><div class="neos-nodetypes-text"><div><p>Our internet sites contain links to other websites.
