December 23 at Inox Multiplex.</p> <p> The festival, to held till December 29, will offer a bouquet of over 80 films from over 28 countries. Screenings will be held at Inox, the National Film Archive of India (NFAI) on Law College Road, the main theatre at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and the MES auditorium at Bal Shikshan Mandir in Mayur Colony.</p> <p> The prestigious Zenith Asia Award will be conferred upon Hindi filmmaker Priyadarshan on December 25 at the National Film Archive of India (NFAI).</p> <p> Organised by Aashay Film Club, Pune in association with Third Eye-Asian Film Foundation in Mumbai, NFAI and FTII, the festival will open with a screening of the award-winning film, 'Opium War', by Siddiq Barmak from Afghanistan. Special focus on cinema from Turkey, a restrospective on Sudhir Mishra's films, Best of Asia, a special section devoted to films by acclaimed Polish director Jan Jakob Kolski and a screening of this year's Dadasaheb Phalke awardee filmmaker K Balachander's 'Taneer Taneer,' are some of the highlights of the festival.</p> <p> A separate 'My Marathi' section will feature six new Marathi films: 'Shala', 'Vel 9.15', 'Khel Mandala', 'Aghat', 'Ha Bharat Majha' and 'Manya - Wonder Boy'. 'Ardhangini - Ek Ardhasatya', a Hindi film by Reema Mukherjee, will also premiere at the festival.</p> <p> "Barmak, Reema Mukherjee and Chinese filmmaker Xie Fei will be present at the film festival for interactions," said festival co-director Satish Zakatdar, at a press conference on Tuesday. "The cast and crew of all the films to be screened in the 'My Marathi' category, will be present during the course of the festival," he added.</p> <p> The event will conclude with the screening of the
